Sue MacMillan, BACP
About me
Sometimes you need someone to talk to who is out of your family or social circle. Someone who won't judge you or who won't be put out if you talk about wanting to change the way you live your life, your relationship/s or your outlook. This is where counselling can help. I listen to people's concerns, worries and dissatisfaction with life with the aim of working with them to find a new way to think, live or interact.
I trained as an integrative counsellor. This means I am familiar with person centred counselling, psychodynamic theory and cognitive behavioural therapy. By listening closely and working with my clients, I aim to use the theory I think best addresses their therapeutic aims.

I feel blessed to have been matched with Sue because I feel heard, theres a desire to understand my life and support me; equipping me with her professional observations and tools to deal with the difficulties I bring to the table, I wonder why I didn't do this sooner.
