Susan Soares, LCSW
About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in the state of Indiana. I have 15 years of experience working as a therapist with a wide range of clients. I have worked in a school-based setting and have a passion for helping children and their families have the best life possible. I also currently work with adults as well. I work with a variety of diagnoses, including anxiety, depression, PTSD and many others.
My counseling style is relational and warm. To me, the best therapeutic work is done in a casual, laid back atmosphere where the client feels heard. I believe in approaching issues with a balance of sensitivity and firmness. I have a passion for helping people heal not only their mind, but their body and spirit as well. The three have to be balanced for someone to be living their best life.
I am so proud of you for wanting to take the step of doing counseling to make your life into what you want it to be. When you are ready to take that step, I am ready to walk along side you in your journey.
I look forward to meeting you!
