About me

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker licensed in Rhode Island and Massachusetts with 7 years of direct psychotherapy experience working with individuals from many backgrounds and ages. In addition, I have over 12 years experience mentoring youth and families and over 8 years as a life coach for women struggling with health and body issues. I have worked with individuals with a wide range of concerns including depression, relationship and intimacy issues, sexual dysfunction, parenting problems, discipline strategies, trauma related issues and borderline personality disorder. I also specialize in anxiety related disorders as I have experienced the toll that stress and anxiety can take on your everyday life.

My counseling style is warm, interactive, and goal oriented. I believe in treating everyone with respect and compassion. I also don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, solution focused, psychodynamic, and rational-emotive counseling. I also have vast experience with DBT (Dialect Behavioral Therapy) and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!
