I am licensed in Florida and North Carolina with 8 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, trauma, & abuse. I also have experience working with coping with life changes. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
My eclectic approach includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Positive Psychology, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and trauma informed practices. Treatment is tailored to the unique needs of each Client, emphasizing their strengths. Clients will acquire skills for resiliency and tolerating hardships, empowerment to withstand.
My work is grounded in first creating a safe place for processing past traumas, while imparting hope for change. With encouragement, I believe individuals have the ability to take control, channel their strengths into progress, grow their resiliency, and reconstruct their life trajectory.
