Welcome! I am so excited to support you on your therapy journey. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started! Keep reading to see if we are a good fit.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia, who earned her Bachelor's in Psychology at Georgia State University and her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Mercer University.
I have over 4 years of professional work experience working with children, adolescents, and families dealing with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, parenting issues, & motivation, self esteem, and confidence, mental health issues, and life transitions. I have experience in play therapy and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy when working with clients. I believe a client’s perception of their life can impact their future. I focus on connecting thoughts and feelings to help clients identify new perspectives to gain stability and control of their lives. .
My passion is to work with clients and families to break generational cycles of trauma and adversity through increasing and strengthening resilience. My interest includes life transitions, divorce, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I aim to encourage healing through a direct, safe, supportive, and creative environment. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you.
What therapy will look like with me:
I believe the most affective way to do therapy is to meet via live video, so the client and therapist can build rapport. Also, it helps me verify your identify for your safety. **I require a live video session for the initial session to verify identify and follow Georgia codes.** After the first session, we can resume with your preference of live video or chat.
I look forward to supporting you on your therapy journey and getting to know you more.

Nothing bad to say here. She has been great. Very responsive and attentive to me when we talk. Also like that she sends worksheets for me to fill out and follows up on them. Would recommend her to anyone.
