Taleatha Welch, LCSW
About me
Greetings,
It has always been my desire to serve and bring out the best in people. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and Licensed Practitioner of The Healing Arts, with a Master’s degree in Social Work, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
Growing up with two parents who struggled with addiction, I experienced anxiety and depression at an early age, and did not want to become a product of my environment. This led me to seek a different path. One where I could not only help myself, but a path where I could take every opportunity to help others as well. I embarked on this journey into the human psyche to gain a better understanding of behaviors, mental functioning, and how I can best serve clients in achieving their desired goals.
I am here to assist those who are willing to roll up their sleeves and put in the work. You have taken a courageous first step; so let's see if we are a good fit, as I would be honored to embark on this journey in collaboration with you. I strive to build a genuine connection with my clients by fostering an environment of transparency and support. You are the expert in your journey, and I am here to assist.

She is amazing

Taleatha is very warm and makes me feel comfortable and safe sharing my feelings. She is understanding, patient, and non-judgemental, but challenges me to think deeper about my issues when appropriate. Exactly what I need in a therapist.
