Tammy Barnum, LMHC
About me
It has been an honor to work as therapist for the past 22 years. I have been able to witness resilience, strength, growth and healing in my work. I have worked with clients in a variety of setting including schools, community programs and mental health clinics. I have a passion for working with individuals to help them feel supported, encouraged and validated as they learn to overcome problems and manage emotions. My approach combines trauma informed, person centered, cognitive behavioral, and narrative approaches. My belief is you have the strengths and capacity to move to make positive changes in your life.
Sometimes we all need a different perspective and encouragement to get through a difficult time. At the core of my work, I strive to provide a safe, supportive space for individuals based on their unique needs and experiences.
