Tamra Priestley, LCMHC
About me
Hi, there! My name is Tamra Priestley and I am a clinical mental health counselor (CMHC) living in Utah. I am also a Life Coach, specializing in the essentials of self-mastery, and relationships. It is my passion to help people have successful relationships, first with themselves, and then with others. It has been a joy to help those who are seeking to learn skills necessary for successful relationships! Most people just don’t know how! I have also been privileged to help many individuals overcome the devastating effects of anxiety and depression. I experienced this devastation myself and no longer suffer from those emotions. I want to help you learn how to live more peaceful, productive, and happy lives. I have also worked with many individuals who have experienced pain from trauma and abuse in all the ways that can happen. This leads to lack of motivation, poor self-esteem, lack of confidence, depression and anxiety. Trauma and abuse may affect every part of your life until healing occurs. I want to help you heal those parts of your past.
My experience includes working in three private practices (now my own) and for a company providing services to their employees, including first responders and law enforcement and their families. I have worked with the elderly experiencing end-of-life issues. I love working with people from all walks of life. Each person is so important! Drawing from my own experiences as a single parent, a son who has several challenges, adoption, divorce, abuse, and many other experiences helps me to utilize my professional training in a way that is personal and effective. I believe in homework that helps you grow beyond the sessions.
I welcome the opportunity to help you in your current challenges to find meaning and purpose, learn new skills, and experience a healed and happier life!

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Tamra Priestley. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Tamra is kind, empathetic and insightful. She’s got a good sense of balance between listening and speaking, and also between saying what needs to be heard and delivering information with sensitivity (and without judgement). I very much appreciated the tools she introduced me to in order to deal with difficult daily issues. Tamra reads people well. She’s got a deep reservoir of knowledge and experience, and she wields it well as she helps guide you through difficult conversations.
