Tara Davis, LCSW
About me
Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 10 years of professional work experience. I graduated from the University of Missouri at Kansas City in 2008. Since then I worked with individuals and families within various settings including: hospice, adult in-patient psychiatric care, child welfare, juvenile justice authority counseling and school social work. This has afforded me the ability to serve people of all ages, backgrounds and walks of life. It has been an absolute privilege to get to know each client. I understand how hard it can be to ask for help and trust someone with your personal information, even more so when life is throwing challenges your way. I truly believe that life gets messy for each one of us, and that the best way forward is with someone helping and cheering you on the whole way! Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, truama, relationship issues, parenting challenges or any other struggle life currently has in store for you, I would love the opportunity to get to know you to support your goals. I hope you are celebrating taking this brave first step! Together I know we can take many more positive steps forward!

Tara is amazing! She is very sweet and receptive. I love her bubbly personality and her positivity. Sessions are less formal and more like talking with and exploring views and coping strategies with a friend or with someone that cares about me. You can tell she genuinely cares and wants to help however she can. She is very flexible and willing to work with my crazy, busy schedule! I would highly recommend her, she's made therapy less intimidating.
