About me

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker-Clinical Practice (LISW-CP) in South Carolina. I've been working in mental health for more than 25 years, and I have experience in helping clients in many areas. It is important for me that clients I assist experience an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I often use humor to encourage this, and I always welcome feedback (good or bad) as I believe constructive criticism is as vital to my growth as a provider as the "pats on the back." I recognize that taking the first step to seeking therapy and focusing on the creation of a a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I welcome the opportunity to support you in that process.

Tasha is excellent. She is the type of person I was looking for to listen, but also guide and challenge. She is very methodical in her approach and her calm presence brings me calm. It has been hard for me to open up about what’s really bothering me, but Tasha is there to make it happen. I am very grateful to her.

Tasha listens and asks questions. These questions make me consider my actions and I make the necessary adjustments to my life. Even when the questions are difficult. The material she offers up for future explanations often read me and I convicted. I appreciate this platform and what it is helping me accomplish in my life.
