About me

Life throws many surprises at us, and while we cannot predict the outcome of any situation, we can take control of how we respond to certain situations. With counseling, you will learn how to identify your emotions and discover how to cope with whatever life may throw at you. I specialize in mental health disorders, addiction use disorders, and co-occurring disorders in adults over the age of 18.

Welcome! I am a fully licensed professional counselor that graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2015 with a master’s degree in education with a focus in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. “I have both personal and professional experience that has aided me in becoming a well-diversified counselor. My goal is to provide vital services to the community to promote happiness and overall enhanced wellness."

In addition to adults, I provide services to adolescents between the ages of 13 and 18, with guardian involvement, focusing on mental health disorders, behavioral disorders, and co-occurring disorder. Adolescents have difficulty communicating emotions, thoughts, and individuals needs leading to explainable behavioral concerns and family avoidance. Through counseling adolescents learn how to effectively communicate to others using healthy communication skills and learn how to express themselves in a positive manner without self-defeating behaviors. Counseling promotes individual self-actualization (learning about self) and improved adolescent behavior.

Quick to respond and reassuring of her presence between sessions. She's very understanding of time issues and has even helped give suggestions of lower cost alternatives for treatment and really researching into specific needs. If she feels like she isn't as versed in an area she will readily mention it and helps to seek other professionals to give the best aid possible. She's very thorough and puts helping her patients as a priority.
