Terry Petrovich, LMHC
About me
Hi, My name is Terry and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified School Psychologist. I use a Cognitive Behavior, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, as well as a mindfulness and problem solving approach to helping people live their best life. I have a desire to work with women because of their uniqueness in having to balance all the different roles and "hats they are expected to wear" in life. I have experience working with woman's issues, parenting, career etc. I also have experience with relationships where there is domestic abuse and safety is a big concern. I have training in Divorce Mediation and practices. I consider myself an open minded person who is more liberal in nature. I want to empower women to feel fulfilled and comfortable in their own skin. I am looking forward to speaking with you and helping you on your journey....Terry P.S. Summer hours are 10:30-11:15. As of August 31st my hours will be approximately 4:15-5:45. I am also flexible according to individual needs.

Terry worked with me and showed me all the tools I need to succeed. She's a wonderful therapist and incredibly kind person. She was patient and gave me time to warm up to it, as this is my first experience with therapy and I really wouldn't have it any other way.
For a long time I was apprehensive about seeking help, but Terry really made sure I got what I needed and helped me navigate through the problems I was facing. She has complex experience eith unique qualifications, and takes a very insightful, human approach to her work. This was one of the best aspects. She made it collaborative rather than interview-esque. I cannot recommend her enough.

I'm so grateful to have seen Terry during my time on Better Help. During our sessions, I felt heard, she gave good feedback, and I always left our sessions feeling better. I've had two other therapists here but none that made me feel as understood and seen as Terry. I can highly recommend her as a therapist if you are looking for a therapist who is an active listener, compassionate, and willing to challenge your intrusive thoughts. Thank you Terry
