David Demorest
David has a very diverse background. In addition to Masters in Mental Health Counseling, he has a Maters in Biology/Biochemistry and worked in Research. David changed fields and worked 25 years as a radiochemist which combined nuclear chemistry and physics. As a counselor his background has been very beneficial in understanding the processes underlying behavior and mental health. As a result of his work in industry David has good people skills which are essential in working with clients with mental health issues. David provides an eclectic approach in counseling theory and uses Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Counseling, Schema Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy. He is trained in Biofeedback and Neurofeedback which are good tools to help clients with issues such as depression, anxiety disorders and addiction. David’s initial approach is to develop a trusting relationship with the client. He then works with the client to identify the specific issues. A treatment plan is developed to address these issues. As treatment proceeds this plan may be revised as specific issues come up. When the client completes the plan, he will be reassessed. Depending on the clients progress the client may be discharged with specific goals to work on. If there are still unresolved issues a new treatment plan will be developed and treatment continued. If there are issues that require a different approach David may refer the client to another counselor that specializes in the client’s specific issues. On a personal level David has three adult children and two grandsons. David was raised in the mountains of Wyoming and has a place south of Jackson Hole which he spends as much time as he can. There his closest neighbors are elk, moose, and wolves. David lives most of the time in Boise. He has been fortunate to have traveled the world a great deal spending time in South East Asia and China. He recently spent time in Tuscany and in Malta. He still skis, canoes, loves to fly fish and generally spend time in nature.

Dr. Nancy Baker
Welcome! Here is a little about me and my treatment interests. I am a licensed psychologist, and have been trained in and work with adults, as well as adolescents. Besides more traditional talk therapy, I am certified in both Spiritual Direction and Clinical Hypnotherapy, and have extensive training in Energy Psychology/work. As part of my interests, I have spent significant time training in different meditation techniques. First, learning techniques for myself, then, how they work, how to teach others, as well as using meditation as a therapeutic tool. My experience with meditation is that a lot of people say they want to learn meditation, but it is hard to start. I answer back, we start where at the best place for you to start. The research on anxiety shows that the components of meditation can be really helpful in reducing anxiety, and beginning to have control of one's life (in a time where life can feel so out of control). Whether you are interested in meditation or not, either way, I can 'meet' you where you are at, and help you on whatever path you are interested in. A big question or statement I get asked when I meet someone virtually in our first session is what do I do, or I have not done this before, or not virtually. I say something like this: It is not a problem....I know what to do and I will teach you. First, we meet and greet on your wall. Then I explain the process and answer any questions that you might have. We talk, just like two people talking....so that I can learn about you and what brings you here. We talk more about the process and begin to formulate your goals. My goals are your goals. I don't control the process, rather I guide. And then as we work together, we find your own individual path to meet those goals. We know the whole time that as life changes, so do goals. And we flexibly work to achieve your ultimate state of mind. I would love to work with you to help you find what you are looking for. My schedule is fairly flexible. Each week I look at the my schedule an open a very small number of time slots that I am available. However, I have many more time slots that are not listed. Because of this, I have the ability to do my best to meet your time constraints, to find times that work for both of us.

Bryan Stanfill
I'm Bryan, a licensed therapist in Washington and Idaho. I'm also nationally Board Certified, with additional state and national certifications. My experience includes private practice, school-based, inpatient, residential, and community-based settings. I help others address stress and anxiety, addictions, intimacy-related issues, anger management, & men's issues. Reaching out can be a difficult first step to improving your life. I believe that each of us deserves opportunities to seek health and happiness for our heads and hearts. LIfe presents us with a fast-paced tempo and multitudes of needs that vie for our energies. This can drain us—physically, emotionally, spiritually, and mentally. The goal of my counseling practice is to help each individual establish a path that is more fulfilling. I believe the keys to growth lie within each individual and one of the best ways to uncover them is to take a look at the ways we perceive the world around us and to test our automatic assumptions, and challenge our behavior patterns. My hope is that through the relationships I develop with clients they will see the hope that is in each of them and live more fully and completely. Our problems can be difficult to overcome. Together, we can prove that these challenges are not always insurmountable and that, indeed, life can simply feel better.

Camille Magalogo

It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.

Kyle Carpenter
I have experience in helping clients with complex mental and personality struggles, healing from trauma, as well as codependency issues primarily, yet I have built a diverse skill set in many other areas. I believe it is our subconscious that dictates much of our lack of motivation, our shame blockages, our codependent habits, and more. Once we gain access to this, we can build a healthier internal dialogue into our bodies, which will give us access to further embodiment and peace of mind.
