I am an LCSW, licensed in Arkansas and Texas and have over 15 years of clinical practice and 10 years of teaching Social Work. My specialty area is working with older adults whether individually, couples or families in areas of life transitions, depression, anxiety, dementia, capacity, life planning, and end of life planning. I also have experience working with diverse challenges in all age groups including depression, anxiety, mood and personality disorders as well as dual diagnosis comorbidities. I use a variety of therapeutic modalities including, CBT, DBT Motivational Interviewing, Narrative and Mindfulness as well as Problem and Solution Focus work and Client-Centered environment. My approach to therapies are collaborative as I believe working together results in best outcomes for you. Therapy can be difficult but well worth the time and effort. Dr. Fatimaah Carmichael
Hello, my name is Dr. Fatimaah Carmichael, I received my Masters in Social Work from Howard University and completed advanced training focused on relational interventions for underserved adults. Upon completion of graduate training I worked in diverse settings gaining experience with families, individuals, and couples. I completed my Doctorate in Social Work and received specialized training in Couple-based interventions and collaborative coping strategies to advance healthy decision making. I am passionate about personal growth and interpersonal development. I strive to ensure that collaborative partnerships are developed with clients by encouraging a judgement-free and empowering clinical setting. I work with individuals and couples to confront personal problems such as dating, blended-families, infidelity, divorce, career-transition, addictions, stress-management, depression and other life challenges. My clients are empowered to work to enhance their lives and create supportive internal and external networks that provide greater overall balance. I utilize techniques that are culturally-centered and focused on cognitive-behavioral theory and emotion-focused therapeutic strategies. Integrating these techniques creates an opportunity to gain clarity and achieve wholistic life goals.

Shontrice Hansen
I am an LPC with over 10 years of counseling experience. I enjoy working with clients of all ages who need help navigating this obstacle we call life. I have experience working in individual and family therapy, through struggles of depression, anxiety, anger, behavior problems, grief, stress, relational conflicts, and traumatic events. I am flexible with office hours, to meet the needs of my clients as best as possible. With training in various therapeutic approaches, I am able to build a plan for my client based on their particular needs including use of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Strength Based, and Motivational Interviewing. I'm passionate about helping people find freedom and growth, mending areas that you feel broken in. I strive to teach clients how to live in true vulnerability where they feel accepted and can grow in their relationships. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arkansas with over 10 years of experience providing therapy for children and adolescents in outpatient and inpatient settings. I have experience working with clients with a variety of treatment issues including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, trauma based disorders, and ADHD. My counseling approach is supportive, engaging, and interactive. My theoretical orientation includes cognitive-behavioral approaches, however I will modify the treatment modality to meet your clinical needs. I look forward to working with you!
