I received a Master's in Social Work from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Colorado. Therapy can be a daunting and intimidating process. I follow a person centered approach in providing care to individuals when developing treatment goals to help build a healthy and safe therapeutic relationship with individuals. I have experience working with children, adolescents and adults with depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, impulse control and co-occurring treatment needs. Mark is a licensed professional counselor who brings over 20 years of experience working with a variety of people and populations across the age range. He works with individuals facing anxiety or depression, life changes, and relationship challenges. He has also worked as a group therapist with people struggling with substances and addiction. He approaches issues with you openly, and considers whatever approach may be beneficial for you given your needs. Mark generally utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, skills training, and Jungian and mindfulness approaches to address concerns during counseling. He looks for your strengths and builds upon those as a foundation for growth in therapy. He feels it is a privilege to work as a psychotherapist. In his free time, he enjoys playing and composing music, and enjoying outdoor recreational activities.
