Many of my clients come to therapy with presenting problems that are rooted in relationships, past or present. People's trauma does not usually come from a car accident or natural disaster—somewhere along the line it comes from relationships, either with some other person or group of people. My ideal clients believe their life is not where they want it to be, even if they don’t necessarily know how or why. The things that my ideal clients believe about their experience are what cause misperceptions about who they are and what they’re worth—which keep them from truly, deeply connecting to other people. I’ll set out to build the rapport we’ll need in order to build an authentic relationship where I will assist you in determining what needs change, and then hold you accountable to doing the work that will create positive change. Many people are used to getting discouragement as encouragement, especially from themselves, but that is going to change! I love what I do so much that sometimes it doesn’t feel like a job. I have always aimed to create a therapeutic environment where we can be ourselves and connect deeply, so that you feel relaxed… and feel prepared to take on the work ahead. Are you ready to get started on your pathway to healing? I look forward to meeting you and getting started on our work together!

I am a licensed professional counselor in Colorado with over 7 years of professional work experience. I have worked with many clients wanting to manage their stress and anxiety as it relates to personal relationships and surrounding the work environment. Most recently, I have done training around disordered eating and supporting clients in healthy relationships with food and body image. My therapy style is very integrative and client-centered, I will adjust my practice to meet your needs while also providing education about different aspects of the therapeutic process. I use techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, and humanistic therapy. I truly believe we are on a journey together and that I can support you in accomplishing your goals in an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
