Hello, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health, National Board Certified Counselor and licensed in the state of Delaware. I have more than 10 years of experience, working with people from different backgrounds, struggles and challenges. It takes courage to seek assistance and I aspire to assist people with developing the tools needed to work through some of life's challenges. My approach is client-centered, non-judgmental and eclectic. Hi! I am Dr. Vincenza L. Fabber a psychologist with over thirty years’ experience in the behavioral / mental health field. Previously, I was the Director of the Shore Memorial Hospital Children’s Center and Assistant Director of the Montessori Early Childhood School in Virginia. In Pennsylvania, I was a consulting Behavioral Specialist at Scranton State School for the Deaf and served in a leadership role with Mentor. In 2002, I accepted a clinical position within the state prison system and eventually became the Statewide Director of Behavioral Health Services for the Department of Correction. Post DOC retirement, I continued to provide behavioral health services - working with SOAR (Survivors of Abuse in Recovery) and in private practice. Additionally, I provide oversight of treatment services for the Joseph Patrick Fabber Memorial Foundation. My degrees and certifications include: Early Childhood Education, Human Services, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Certified Clinical Correctional Health Care Provider, Certified Hypnotherapist, Registered Play Therapist, Filial Therapist, EAGALA Equine Assisted Therapy certified, Licensed Mental Health Professional, Certified CPR Trainer, Certified Trauma Informed Care Specialist, and is a certified National Institute of Correction Crisis and Hostage Negotiator.
