Christy Paul
Hello, my name is Christy! I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida. I have been working in the field for over 16 years. I received my masters degree at the University of North Florida. In my experience when people are given the right tools or skills it empowers them to cope with any life situation. I believe therapy is the means in which one develops these skills. That is why I use both a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach as well as Person-Centered. I look forward to our time together, guiding you through life's journey towards a more fulfilled life.

Dr. Virginia Curbelo
For over 20 years I have worked in a variety of settings and I have seen the benefits of receiving the right support. My style in therapy tend to be very experiential and collaborative. I also incorporate mindfulness techniques, relaxation and guided imagery as a powerful tool for increasing self-awareness, reducing symptoms of anxiety, depression, stress and learn effective coping skills. I believe in the importance of empowering people to access their own inner resources given clients the opportunity to practice new skills and behaviors to produce lasting positive results.

Deborah Hilyard
Hi. I am Deborah K. Hilyard and have been a licensed mental health counselor for over 30 years in Florida. While I have worked in different venues during that period of time and have seen a diverse group of people from all aspects of life, we all share basic wants and needs. I completed my graduate degree in counseling at the University of Memphis in 1988 and worked in the campus career counseling office during graduate school years. I later worked for the U. S. Air Force and U. S. Navy in their family centers setting up a new transitional program for service members leaving the service and then later mental health counseling for the service members and their families. Service members and their families are under some of the greatest stress with the uncertainties in their lives, along with clinical depression when feeling as if they have no control of their lives. As might be expected there are many relationship issues with the separations that families often go through. I have worked with clients through their relationship issues, anger, anxiety and depression frequently. I have also worked with many clients with parenting issues, career challenges and work discord. I have also worked in the foster care system doing comprehensive assessments on the children, their previous and current environment and their parent(s) or guardians. My experience includes working with victims and their significant others in regards to emotional, physical and sexual abuse. The past two years I have been at Betterhelp working with issues of every kind. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity and compassion and I do not believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines client centered, cognitively-behavioral, solution focused and rational-emotive counseling, although I will tailor the dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek out for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you! Specialties * Stress and Anxiety * Relationship Issues * Trauma and Abuse * Depression * Grief, loss * PTSD * Aging & Caregiving Issues

Carson Winn
I am licensed in multiple states including California with many years of professional work experience as a therapist. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, mood instability, overcoming addictions, and healing trauma. Our human condition is one that requires guidance and compassion. Helping my clients elevate out of depression, enduring grief and resolving loss are among the most common services I provide. I work with individuals, couples and families to create a safe space where thoughts and feelings can be explored without fear of judgment. Starting the therapy process, switching therapists, or returning to therapy after a period of time can be challenging. To be vulnerable is to be courageous and to do this often requires help. My skills are designed to help my clients achieve a sense of strength and to have a more consistent state of peace and joy. I do this with a variety of methods. I tailor my model of therapy based on the clients’ needs and individual goals, allowing authentic growth and sustaining mental health. Often simply identifying goals can create immediate shifts in how we think, in turn changing the way we feel. Whether the therapy is brief and efficient to push toward immediate mobility, or the therapy is instead a more long-term plan, depends on my clients’ needs and desires. I am available to help you with your future and therapy process.
