Hello, and thank you for your interest in working with me as your therapist. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), licensed in both Florida and Texas, with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida, and have had the privilege of working in a wide range of settings—including homeless shelters, crisis stabilization units, and outpatient treatment centers. These diverse experiences have shaped a compassionate, person-centered approach to therapy. My clinical practice integrates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I specialize in working with men who may find it difficult to express intimacy and affection, and those experiencing challenges related to anger, irritability, performance anxiety, or emotional disconnection. I offer a supportive space where clients can freely explore their thoughts, emotions, and personal goals without judgment. Many of the individuals I work with are seeking greater balance, fulfillment, and clarity in their personal and professional lives. Therapy can offer a safe and confidential environment to explore these challenges and begin the process of healing and growth. Together, we’ll work on building healthier coping strategies and uncovering deeper insight into the issues you may be facing. I look forward to the opportunity to connect with you and begin this meaningful work togeth

Corina Istanich
Welcome ! My name is Corina and I hold a license in Mental Health Counseling (LMHC) in the state of Florida. I went to school at Palm Beach Atlantic University for both my under grad and masters education. Palm Beach Atlantic University is a Christian University and I feel grateful to have attended this school as it has created the person I am today. I believe that my faith has developed me as the counselor I am today and I function with that mentality in counseling. Jesus is the great counselor and I believe that we are to be the hands and feet of Jesus. I have been working in the counseling field for 8 years and have been licensed for 4 of those years. I have worked the majority of my career in an in-patient addictions center and have expanded to out-patient and in home therapy with a couple different community agencies. In those agencies I have offered services to children from the ages of 4 to adults in their 60's, as well as family therapy. I have worked with an array of issues not limited to family conflict, relationship issues, communication, drugs and alcohol, anger, stress, coping skills and many other life issues. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a modality that I primarily work with and at times borrowing from other modalities when it is fit. My goal is to build a real, raw and positive relationship while being compassionate and empathetic. I will be sensitive but also direct in efforts to help you find solutions to your current and/or past issues. I also believe that incorporating the use coping skills, boundaries and communication will increase quality of life as well as the quality of relationships. I believe all interactions are the beginning of potential flourishing relationships. With that said, I think that as we grow in counselor and client relationship , this very relationship will better help you with your relationships with family, friends and co-workers. I am excited to meet you and to work with you as you learn new ways to live your very best life! Thank you for letting me be a part of your journey. Additional info: I prefer to do video sessions as we are able to see each other face to face and I am able to pick up on ques that are important in therapy. I am not opposed to live chat or phone call when video is not available but prefer video. If you the time that you need to meet is not available, please message me so I can accommodate you.

**If you do not see a session time or date that works with your schedule; feel free to send me a message as I am able to offer time slots other than those posted on my schedule. **Please note that full demographic information has to be provided prior to our first session or we will need to reschedule. You are assured confidentiality but our visits can not be anonymous. I am licensed in Florida with over 30 years of professional work experience and 24 years as a licensed therapist. I have experience in helping clients with relationship issues, career difficulties, depression, & executive and professional coaching. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy takes a bit of courage and I am proud of you for getting started! My approach is very supportive and also very direct. The therapeutic alliance is one of the most important aspects of individual counseling. This is “your” session and I am never offended if you want to go in a direction I have not thought of or if you have questions about the overall process. Important note: Please note that therapists on the BetterHelp platform are rated by active clients as well as clients whom therapists have declined due to a plethora of reasons and in my case; scheduling seems to be the main reason I don’t accept a particular individual or their mental health needs are such that I know I am not the best match for their needs. These “non-clients” have the same opportunity to rate my work which in my short-time on the platform has been discouraging because my actual client ratings hover in the 4.7-5/5 in all areas. Having people whom I have not had any sessions get equal opportunity to rate my work has drastically skewed the ratings and I think you as a potential or actual client need to know how these ratings are formulated. Thank you and look forward to meeting you.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with 24 years of professional experience. I am also a Qualified Supervisor of new counselors who finished their Master's Degree and have become Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns in Florida. In addition, I do Wellness Coaching throughout the USA. I am also a Teacher, Mentor, and soon an International Motivational Speaker. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, substance use and other vices and addictions, relationship issues, family conflicts, & trauma and abuse. Many of my clients have no diagnosis. Many have already been diagnosed with Depression, Anxiety, Insomnia, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Substance Use Disorder, Post-Traumatic Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Addictions, Autism, and numerous others. After some counseling, I recommend people to go for an annual physical to get their bloodwork and review it with their doctor or nurse practioner. Sometimes a level may be off that is causing a problem for the mind. Many people also take a copy of their bloodwork and give to a psychiatrist or advanced psychiatric nurse practitioner to help them do their psychiatric evaluation. This is the same exact way that we go for a physical exam or a dental check-up. Since the brain controls the body, it only makes sense. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process. I will help you vibrate and be stable and content at a 90% (or higher) level leaving 10% for the imperfections of life. Most problems of humans can be remedied by Self-Love & Gratitude. The more loving thoughts and actions we do for ourselves on a daily basis, and the more gratitude we practice daily, the more we will love others and the universe too. The above will result in people loving you or wanting to be your friend for who you really are now and at every stage from hereon, with your strengths, weaknesses, healthy and ill parts. Humans see through the cover-ups/phony layers of other humans, and humans don't like it. When humans are genuine and raw, it reduces up to 90% of anxiety, and, other humans love humans who are genuine and raw-it relaxes them inspires them to open up and be genuine and raw too. Your life will be so free. Your goals will be achieved much quicker. You will have more years happy on this planet. Don't suffer till' your 49yo like I did. The trauma is brutal. Be you. Do you. Love you. Your true and respectful people will love and support you. I will show you how my technique called the Alphabet (lead like a healthy Alpha while having a Beta heart), will heal any abnormal attachment style. Feel free to follow and communicate with me on my Facebook Page: Kevin Bieber My profile picture is me in a Jiu-Jitsu stance. *Friday & Saturday Evenings & Nights: I sometimes work even though it may not be available on my weekly calendar.
