Waynette Speakman
Hello, My name is Waynette Speakman. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida and I am also a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC) through the National Board of Certified Counselors. I am also a Board Certified -TeleMental Health Provider (BC-THP). I graduated from the University of South Florida in 2007 with a Master's in Counseling. I primarily work from an Adlerian counseling perspective as it utilizes psychodynamic, cognitive, and behavioral techniques. I incorporate cognitive and behavioral strategies into counseling to facilitate goal-directed positive behaviors, while also taking into account past history, birth order and family dynamics. Adlerian therapy is goal directed and future focused, therefore we will not spend too much time on past history, rather add it to the other pieces to create the best possible picture. I will integrate solution-focused strategies and motivational interviewing techniques to encourage problem solving from a positive goal oriented perspective. I am really excited to meet you and start working with you.

Pedro Inoa
Hello, and thank you for your interest in working with me as your therapist. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), licensed in both Florida and Texas, with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida, and have had the privilege of working in a wide range of settings—including homeless shelters, crisis stabilization units, and outpatient treatment centers. These diverse experiences have shaped a compassionate, person-centered approach to therapy. My clinical practice integrates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I specialize in working with men who may find it difficult to express intimacy and affection, and those experiencing challenges related to anger, irritability, performance anxiety, or emotional disconnection. I offer a supportive space where clients can freely explore their thoughts, emotions, and personal goals without judgment. Many of the individuals I work with are seeking greater balance, fulfillment, and clarity in their personal and professional lives. Therapy can offer a safe and confidential environment to explore these challenges and begin the process of healing and growth. Together, we’ll work on building healthier coping strategies and uncovering deeper insight into the issues you may be facing. I look forward to the opportunity to connect with you and begin this meaningful work togeth

Hi, I’m Whitney. If you've struggled with trauma, self-doubt, insecurities, anxiety, and/or depression. You're in the right place. About my clients: My client's want to feel better. Plain and simple. They have a keen sense of when something is off about themselves and are ready to work towards a solution to getting their problems resolved. Life can be overwhelming these days. Therapy can provide you with insight on how to get out of the rut. I look forward to working together and helping you find clarity so that can get back to living your life on your terms. My background and approach: I have a background in individual and family therapy. I received my master’s degree in social work from the University of Central Florida, and I received my bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Central Florida. I use a combination of mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and wholistic therapeutic practices when working with my clients. Many clients believe that it is the therapist’s job to make them feel better. While feeling better may be the outcome of counseling it is not always the case in every situation. My main role is to help you identify the root cause and triggers of your uncomfortable emotions, and to perhaps help you understand yourself more clearly and provide insight as to why some emotions are surfacing so intensely. You and I will work collaboratively to develop the capacity to endure intense emotions and channel them properly. By doing this you will be able to increase your ability to disperse/ relieve your symptoms at a quicker rate. Mental mental health challenges can be a persistent thorn in your side, but the thing about thorns is that they can be pulled out. Let me help you pull out your "thorn" and get you on the path to a life where you manage your mental health and your mental health doesn't manage you.

Victoria Van Wyhe
Greetings and welcome! I am a licensed mental health counselor in Florida with over 20 years of experience working with diverse populations. I graduated with a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology in 1997 from Palm Beach Atlantic University. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship/communication issues, marital conflict, singleness, grief/loss, anger management, low self-esteem, trauma, and spiritual concerns. I served as an adjunct professor for many years, teaching psychology and counseling at the graduate level. For the past seven years, I worked at a university counseling center providing therapy to both graduate and undergraduate students. I primarily counsel from a cognitive-behavioral approach. My therapy style is warm and non-judgmental. I understand how difficult it can be to talk openly with a stranger about personal things. Know that I will speak the truth in a genuine, loving way that is guided by my desire to see my clients grow personally, as well as in their relationship with others. Counseling is not just a profession to me, but a calling to care for others to the best of my ability. You may have heard the saying, "It may get worse before it gets better." I want my clients to know that change can be difficult sometimes, so if you feel tired, worn out, or uncomfortably challenged after a counseling session, that's okay. We're doing something right! Don't give up. Counseling is a process that may take some time, so stick with it and we will work together as a team. My joy is to see you reap the rewards. Please Note: Currently, I am offering daytime appointments only, ranging from 9am-3pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. I look forward to the privilege of working with you!

Alicia Gard
Welcome! I am a mental health counselor, licensed in Florida and have been providing psychotherapy services for 7 years. I have worked with people who are experiencing many different issues, which have all led them to seek assistance with changing their mindset, their responses, and their overall mental health. This includes issues such as depression, anxiety, anger, low self esteem, and impulsivity. Additional issues in which I have specific training and certification are unresolved grief and loss, substance abuse and addiction, and trauma. My therapy approach is based on getting to know each client as an individual; I don't believe in "cookie cutter" approaches to therapy and as we work together, I will build a treatment plan suited to your individual needs. I use a combination of therapy styles including narrative, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), psycho-dynamic, and dialectical-behavioral ( DBT). My therapy style is compassionate and empathetic, and I believe in treating others with respect and understanding. When life gets out of balance, we all respond differently, and often need help. It takes courage to reach out and take the first step to change. That is where the therapeutic relationship starts and I am ready to listen and support you. I look forward to working with you!
