Dr. Maxine Lebowitz
Even though I’ve been licensed both as a marriage and family therapist and a mental health counselor for over 30 years, it’s hard for me to define exactly what school of therapy I practice. My therapeutic style is a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy with a lot of Neurolinguistics Programming in the mix. I am constantly studying new techniques and approaches because what will help you is most important knowledge I can have. Early on I was strongly influenced by Alfred Adler who was a contemporary of Freud. Adler believed that childhood experiences influence how we feel about ourselves and how we react to various situations. Like Adler my basic theory is that people are always moving from feeling not quite good enough to feeling significant, feeling we matter. We all need to feel significant to have the confidence, drive and energy to meet the world head on, knowing that we'll be successful. I’ll work with you like I do with my other clients to help you learn to access and nurture those traits within yourself that will make your life significant to you, help you live up to your values and, in some small way, make the world a better place. A person usually needs to feel good about themselves before making lasting changes. As a client you will know that I am in your corner. We’re going to be finding your strength, intelligence, compassion, and motivation that is already there inside you and help you learn how to use these qualities to make the changes you want to make. . Other clients describe me as a nurturing, empathetic, encouraging person. I hope that’s true. I do know that I promise to listen, really listen and hear what you are saying and help you make the changes you want to.

Dr. Douglass Lobo
Dr. Lobo is an educated, experienced, and licensed mental health professional. He has extensive experience working with children, teenagers, and their families. He has successfully worked with some of the most challenging youth in various settings, including the foster care, academic, and juvenile justice sectors in both the public and private sector. He currently consults with Miami-County Public Schools, New York Public Schools, and several Charter School Systems and operates a thriving private practice. Dr. Lobo specializes in working with the most challenging children and teenagers around behavioral and academic issues and is proficient in assisting families in getting back on track. Counseling is not a miracle cure or a magic wand; however, sometimes talking to an objective individual and sharing your thoughts and feelings can be highly therapeutic and liberating, and getting non-judgemental feedback and guidance can be extremely helpful in navigating life’s issues. Many times things can begin to be sorted out in a couple of sessions.

Adrienne Van Es
Hello! My name is Adrienne Van Es and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida with over six years experience providing therapy services. I am a true Floridian born and raised and completed both my bachelors and masters degrees at the University of Central Florida. I enjoy working with all ages and specialize in helping those working through depression, stress and anxiety, trauma, adjusting to changes in life and ADHD. My approach to therapy is based on meeting each individual client's needs. I believe in working with a client centered approach, understanding the client is the expert on their lives and applying a unique treatment plan to reach each of their goals. I help through psycho-education, mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and various trauma therapies such as EMDR. Taking the first step starting therapy can be scary. Even as a therapist, when I started looking for therapy for myself, I became shy, a little nervous and worried what I should or shouldn't say (even with knowing I hold no judgements or negative thoughts towards any client)! I personally know the courage it has taken to get this far and acknowledge the motivation to pursue self care for yourself. I would be honored to be a part of the process along with you. I encourage any and all questions, concerns and/or thoughts about myself, my practice and what I can do for you so please don't hesitate to be in touch! In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, adventure racing, creating music, anything involving the beach and/or ocean and spending time with friends, family and my dog.

Miriam "Masha" Andreoni
I do not believe in a "one size fits all" kind of approach. While uncomfortable feelings might be a commonality (especially in today's world,) I believe we are all individuals who learn, experience, and react to situations differently. One thing I know for sure, if everything was going "great" chances are you would not be reading this bio right now. BRAVO to you for taking this monumental step and investing in yourself!!! Hi, I'm Masha Andreoni, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10+ years of professional experience and 47 years of lived experience. A majority of my work experience has been spent working with Veterans and Active Duty Reservists focusing on post deployment issues, substance abuse, and military sexual trauma. Today, I work with individuals/groups/families within a multitude of populations. Most importantly, I do not believe that individuals fit snuggly into a particular mental health "box." For example, if diagnosed with PTSD... there is a good chance that anxiety, depression, insomnia, relationship difficulties, work-related issues (etc.) may be present. If struggling with addictions...anxiety, depression insomnia, relationship difficulties, work-related issues (etc.) may be present...you get it. My focus/goal is to understand where you are coming from, what you hope to achieve, avoid making any particular judgements/labels, and work together as we embrace this journey of solution focused change and betterment. While I can take the time to tell you how my approach is warm, motivating, understanding, open....in the end, this is for you to decide. I can however assure you that regardless of diplomas achieved, I never stop pursuing education in this ever-changing field/world. I am here to be of service. With me comes my personality, knowledge, humor (when appropriate,) and respect! Truly looking forward to working with you.

Thomas Dukes
Having experienced the benefit of being born and raised in Brooklyn, NY I was gifted with exposure to a varied cultural base. My first work engagement in the mental health field occurred in 1996. The facility was a medicaid based dual diagnosis treatment center with the primary diagnoses psychiatric with a secondary substance use disorder. My interactions with the patients flowed naturally and, in my discussions with staff, the owner of the facility suggested that I should get my license in mental health counseling. I began graduate study in 1998 while working full time in varied facilities in order to gain maximum exposure to diverse mental health/substance abuse modalities. My work experience included the Palm Beach County psychiatric crisis stabilization unit, The Drug Abuse Foundation in Delray Beach and the Juvenile Intervention Facility in Broward County. Upon graduation in 2000 and license activation I spent time as a therapist at the Renaissance Institute in Boca Raton. Shortly after the events of 9/11/2001 I began the process of creating a private practice in psychotherapy. During the growth of my practice beyond seeing patients for individual therapy, I provided services for EAP programs, sober house residences and treatment facilities. In December 2010 I closed my practice and relocated with my dogs to western North Carolina. I spent ten years at Pavillon in Mill Spring, NC as a clinical supervisor until November 2020. I continue to reside in North Carolina and hold active licenses in Florida (LMHC) and North Carolina (LCAS). I am experienced with a varied patient demographic and am easy to connect with. While currently semi-retired I continue seeking to help provide guidance and direction for others.
