Darlyn Martinez
Welcome! I provide individual therapy to adults dealing with a variety of challenges including: anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions/adjustment issues, complex trauma, and attachment issues. Whether this is your first time seeking therapy or you have been in therapy before, it is important to choose a therapist that you feel connected to and has experience in treating the areas that align with your needs. Therapy is an intimate experience, a collaboration between you and the therapist. I take that role seriously and understand that to do my best work, I need to understand each client holistically. I feel like my biggest asset is the ability to see a client's strengths, empower them to achieve their goals, and support them throughout the therapeutic process Therapy helps uncover strengths and learn new skills that will allow you to deal with the challenges that arise in life. A successful therapy experience does not mean a person is cured, it means the person has the inner and outer resources to deal with the ups and downs of life. My goal is to help you develop the skills necessary to successfully deal with life, on your own terms. With warmth, compassion, and a bit of humor, I aim to create a safe, supportive environment to help foster personal growth and healing. I have experience working in a variety of settings including outpatient, Telehealth therapy , and schools. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and approved Clinical Supervisor. I look forward to working with you!

Clinical managerial and program development experiences focusing on the seriously mentally ill involved in the Criminal Justice System. My key strengths are successful in outpatient therapy, community outreach, community collaboration leader, and history of successful program development. As a therapist, I believe in therapeutic relationships based on deep acceptance, genuineness and collaboration towards personal development. I believe the needs and abilities of each individual are different and work with you to determine what approaches and techniques are most in line with your needs and strengths. My goal through therapy is to empower and motivate you to make positive changes towards the goals established while we are learning how to have a better understanding of ourselves. In my work with individuals, teenagers, young adults, families and couples, I use an eclectic approach depending on what will be effective. This may include humanistic therapy, CBT, trauma recovery model, supportive therapy, psycho-dynamic, integrative and/or emotion focused therapy. Please reference the full list below of the different therapeutic approaches that I use depending on the goals that are established together in therapy. I specialize in the treatment of mood and adjustment disorders, anxiety disorders, depression, grief and loss and PTSD. Prioritizing self first by focusing on building and/or strengthening your self-esteem, self-love, self-care, silencing inner critic and/or work towards finding your authentic self. Please see the full list below that outlines what areas of experience and focus items we can work towards together as a team. I recognize and respect the courage it takes to make that first step and seek help, and it is a privilege to me to accompany you/teen/couple/family on your journey.

Dr. Nina Marie Maspons
I am a bilingual (English, Spanish) Licensed Clinical Psychologist based in Miami-Dade County, Florida. I also have a Master of Arts in Marital and Family Therapy. My experience comes from providing direct mental health services for children, teens, adults, and couples with a variety of presenting issues including anxiety, depression, relationship and/or family issues, grief, trauma, multicultural concerns/difficulties, coping with medical diagnoses, and gender/sexual identity. The therapeutic relationship is the foundation for progress throughout the course of services. That said, I approach psychotherapy through a biopsychosocial lens that encompasses the entirety of the individual. My clinical experience spans from working with adults diagnosed with chronic medical conditions, children/adolescents with interpersonal difficulties, academic difficulties, and adjustment issues, as well as couples experiencing relationship issues. Working in South Florida has provided me with the opportunity to work with individuals from a variety of different cultures and religions; thus, it is important for me to incorporate one’s cultural identity into mental health services. My experience providing mental health services ranges across settings. Although most of my work has been in hospitals and community mental health centers, I have worked in the school system, at rehabilitation jails, and in the community conducting in-home psychotherapy services. Given my background in systems, I truly believe that one’s environment is crucial in their mental health journey. My treatment modality/approach is predominantly Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I like to incorporate psychodynamic theory (Object-Relations) and/or family systems (Bowenian, Structural) depending on the individual and the presenting problem. At the end of the day, I believe that psychotherapy is a collaborative process and relationship in which you are the expert on you. My hope is that we can work towards identified goals and improved quality of life.
