Cordele is known as the Watermelon Capital of the World because of the quantity and quality of the luscious fruits grown in and around the city. In fruit-growing and life, no harvest is certain. The storms of emotional turmoil, the winds of unfortunate circumstances, and the cold of loneliness can make the fruit less sweet.
Mental health problems can threaten to destroy everything that’s important to you. Emotional upsets and relationship issues can obscure the good things within you and those you love. Talk to a counselor in the Cordele area to nurture the hidden sweetness in your life.

Pronouns – she/her Hello, and welcome! I'm truly glad you're here, taking this courageous step toward reclaiming your well-being. My own journey into counseling began with personal challenges that reshaped my path. After the premature birth of my youngest, I Found out I needed a kidney transplant eight months later. With two small kids and a husband who was in the Navy, I fell into a deep depression. Getting out of bed was a struggle. With the help of an amazing therapist, I found my way back to the light. When it became clear that my transplant would prevent me from pursuing my dream of becoming a medical doctor, I sought another way to give back and found my calling in counseling. As a therapist, my mission is to assist individuals and couples in navigating their current challenges, helping them emerge stronger and more connected. Nothing brings me greater joy than concluding services with someone, knowing they have reclaimed their strength and resilience. I have two Master's degrees in counseling and have recently become a a sex therapist which allows me to support a diverse range of clients across all ages. I specialize in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), an action-oriented approach that encourages embracing thoughts and feelings rather than fighting or feeling guilty for them. Additionally, I'm trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a psychotherapy treatment designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories. Since 2012, I've made Augusta my home, relocating from New York City. My supportive husband and children stood by me throughout my educational journey, and now, with my two children grown and living in different places, I share my home with three large, loving dogs. Recently, I had the joy of welcoming my first granddaughter. I look forward to connecting with you and commend you on taking this first step toward rediscovering yourself.
