In establishing a therapeutic relationship between you and myself is to begin with an inviting warm welcome and thank you to you by allowing this journey of engagement between us. All relationships take risks and I am honored to provide a safe space for open dialogue between us. I combine many therapeutic modalities (i.e.,CBT, DBT, to develop your treatment plan by using a strengths-based approach to empower goals tailored to your needs and areas of concern. I use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, which is an evidenced-based psychotherapy designed to help people with emotional dysregulation to treat mood disorders, suicidal ideation, and for change in behavioral patterns such as self-harm and substance abuse. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which is a psycho-social intervention that aims to improve your mental health by focusing on challenging and changing unhelpful cognitive distortion and behaviors, improving emotional regulation, and the development of personal coping strategies that target solving current problems. I use Solution Focused Therapy, is an evidence-based therapeutic approach which incorporates positive psychological practices, principles, and outcomes that helps people change by constructing solutions rather than focusing on their problems. SFT is most commonly known to be a friendly, hope-eliciting, future- orientated vehicle for developing, achieving, motivating and sustaining a desired behavioral change. I use Narrative Therapy, which is a form of psychotherapy that seeks to help people identify their values and skills and knowledge they have to live these values, so they can effectively confront the problems they face in a safe manner. This may also provide space to reflect on historical trauma and family values as it relates to the individual and their goals. My goal is to establish a connection, whereby both you and I will partner, addressing that each person is an individual and worthy of a safe space to heal within themselves and within their relationships. If, I ask you to describe the mask you wear, what would you say? Does the mask you wear help you feel protected and safe? Feeling protected, not showing the “real you” or the hurt and pain you suppress down. Living with depression but showing up as “perfectly fine.” You carry the burdens of everyone else hoping to help them. Being everyone’s superhero is a distraction from your own needs and desires. You may even go as far as saying, you are unheard and seen. But your mask covers the “real you.” With over 7 years of experience, my mission is to help you evolve confidently and set boundaries without shame or guilt. To help you develop a trusting relationship with yourself, leaving second-guessing in the past. Each session is your safer space with your goals in mind as we create lasting change and (slowly) take off the mask(s). First, we tend to those inner wounds. I know this is the scary part, and I will be there alongside you each step of the way. Secondly, let us take a deep breath. Breathing is the connection between the mind and body. We will be taking intentional breaths throughout our sessions. We will even move our bodies a bit to connect deeper. I would love to dive deeper with you if you are ready to step InCourage and live the best life you deserve.

Professional Overview I am an intuitive psychotherapist and hold a master’s degree in Professional Counseling and have been in practice 14 years with clinical experience ranging from private practice settings to college and university counseling centers. My postgraduate education includes doctoral training at Spelman College, Georgia State, and Georgia Tech Universities. Business Professionals & Entrepreneurs I offer specialized counseling services tailored for business professionals and entrepreneurs dedicated to providing heart-centered services to their communities. I recognize that those who lead with compassion and purpose often face unique interpersonal challenges, particularly when it comes to communication styles and relational patterns. My approach supports clients in working through unresolved emotional wounds that may be impacting business partnerships, personal relationships, or both. By identifying and transforming these underlying dynamics, I empower clients to cultivate healthier, more successful, and fulfilling personal and professional connections. Relationship Counseling I view relationships as dynamic partnerships, whether romantic or otherwise, that require intentional care, communication, and collaboration. Just like business partnerships, cultivating emotional safety, a vision of shared goals, and clear compassionate communication is crucial to a successful and healthy relationship dynamic. Treatment Approach I bring a unique blend of Psychodynamic, Attachment-Based, and Emotionally-Focused therapy techniques, along with the Gottman Method, one of the most research-supported and effective approaches to individual therapy. This evidence-based framework helps clients recognize and shift negative interaction patterns, improve communication skills, and strengthen emotional connection. I am particularly passionate about working with individuals of diverse sex, gender, and relationship identities, including but not limited to the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities. Whether you are an entrepreneur seeking to enhance professional collaboration and leadership, working through recurring conflicts and betrayal, or striving to deepen intimacy and trust-I am committed to helping you create resilient, authentic, and successful relationships in all areas of life.
