Hello! My name is Ebony Yelder and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience providing counseling and psychiatric services. I have worked in a variety of settings to include, behavioral health hospitals, outpatient clinics, emergency rooms, in home counseling, as well as for the Department of Defense providing counseling services for our military and their families. I received my Bachelor’s in psychology from Penn State University and my Master’s in psychology from Argosy University. My passion for helping people was born out of working as a case worker in New York City for foster children early in my career. I use Solution Focused Therapy, is an evidence-based therapeutic approach which incorporates positive psychological practices, principles, and outcomes that helps people change by constructing solutions rather than focusing on their problems. SFT is most commonly known to be a friendly, hope-eliciting, future- orientated vehicle for developing, achieving, motivating and sustaining a desired behavioral change. I use Narrative Therapy, which is a form of psychotherapy that seeks to help people identify their values and skills and knowledge they have to live these values, so they can effectively confront the problems they face in a safe manner. This may also provide space to reflect on historical trauma and family values as it relates to the individual and their goals. My goal is to establish a connection, whereby both you and I will partner, addressing that each person is an individual and worthy of a safe space to heal within themselves and within their relationships. Welcome! My name is Jessica Hankins and I am a Nationally and State Certified School Psychologist, as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor. For more than 15 years, I have worked in the mental health field assisting children, youth and adults in discovering their talents and reaching their true potential. I am a Georgia licensed professional counselor with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have been working in an inpatient setting since 2016, treating men with substance use disorder. Working with individuals with substance use disorder has given me the opportunity to counsel individuals with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, marriage and family relationship issues, as well as emotional and physical trauma. I am a Christian counselor who uses a client centered approach that is compassionate and interactive towards all individuals regardless of religious beliefs. Empathy plays a large role in my approach towards clients. I believe that all clients should be given an empathetic ear and treated with respect and sensitivity.
