Si Thompson
A little about me: After growing up mainly in the Northwest, I now live in North Idaho and love the variety here: mountains, rivers, lakes, waterfalls, and even the wildly unpredictable seasons (I'm pretty sure that we have more than four..). It makes my favorite activities –cycling, canoeing, clambering– that much more rewarding, and I feel very fortunate to grow my family here. I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology (B.S.) from the University of Idaho, my master's degree in social work (MSW) from Boise State University, my initial license (LMSW), and finally my current credentials: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Idaho. I've worked as an AmeriCorps volunteer serving rural schools in Washington state, a wilderness counselor for troubled teens in North Carolina, a mentor for students in several therapeutic residential programs, and a variety of other things. I believe that my values of communicating in empathy, relating as equals, educating with a sense of curiosity & challenging from a place of respect all harmonize in an approach that increases self-understanding, encourages personal growth, and opens possibilities for people to create the life they want. Because everyone has their own unique way of relating to themselves and the world around them, individual people and cases call for personalized treatment based on their own needs. With this in mind, I lean toward strengths-based, existential, and cognitive theories of treatment, and use CBT, psychoeducation, and narrative techniques to help people challenge & change their own self-defeating thoughts & assumptions, unwanted emotions, and destructive patterns. I also often use play therapy exercises, role-playing, gentle humor, relaxation techniques, written works & other media sources, journaling & artwork as appropriate & helpful. I'm often reminded of the adage: "Everyone you meet is mid-journey," and this very much applies to me as well. -Si Thompson, LCSW

Lola Ladimir
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois and Idaho certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Thanatology (CT). I practice a client-centered strength-based approach, incorporating a focus on mindfulness to promote mental well-being and strength of Self. This approach encourages a collaborative therapeutic relationship to facilitate healing and growth. Through my work as a therapist, I am reminded daily of the resilient nature of the human spirit. From experiences with disappointment to unimaginable trauma, people find the courage to ask for help and to move forward. It is the greatest privilege to, for a time, join someone on their path to healing. My clients allow me to meet them with support when they struggle and to celebrate their joy when they persevere. I am acknowledging that tragedy happens every day, and so does triumph. Our days vary, but don’t we all know what it’s like to have a really bad day and also an amazing day? Therapy is an outlet. A seed of change. Know that no matter what intrudes into - or shatters - our assumptions of this imperfect world, we don’t have to be in it alone. There is nothing more encouraging than a conversation about the possibilities of the life a person can create. Allow yourself to make space for that conversation and for subsequent change. My clinical experience includes therapy with adolescents and adults, specializing in trauma, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, life transitions, and grief and loss. Informed by continuing education and experience in psychotherapy and counseling, I base my interventions on unique presented needs, providing supportive guidance toward identified goals.

Jocelyn Mirahcic
I am a licensed clinical therapist (LCSW) with 6 years of working with clients ready to make a change in themselves for the life they want to be living. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns some of which includes depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem issues, and life changes. I also helped many people who have experienced trauma and abuse find a path of internal freedom. My initial goal in working with new clients is to ensure there is a good therapeutic fit prior to moving forward to meet my client's goals. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life today and continue to move forward! Healing comes at your own pace, and with that I will always encourage supplemental resources to aid in your journey of healing. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs and will review these goals periodically with you to make sure we are on track. It takes courage at times to seek help to discover a more fulfilling and happier life. You bring your valuable experiences, beliefs, emotions, and choices to the table. I aim to earn your trust and provide a space we can explore what brings you healing toward inner peace and joy. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to empower you and work alongside you to accomplish your goals. I look forward to meeting you!

Sarah Isaack
Hello, my name is Sarah Isaack and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Wyoming and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Idaho. I would like to provide you with some information about myself so you can determine if I am a good fit for your counseling needs. I have two dogs named Solstice and Sam in addition to a Cockatoo named Pinkerton. I am currently married and have lived in Wyoming most of my life. I enjoy reading, walking in nature, and gardening for self-care, and I am extremely passionate about helping others help themselves. I have been both a substance and mental health counselor for over 9 years and have a degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I have vast experience working with a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, burnout, self-esteem, self-identity, and life purpose. I also have experience working with trauma, addictions, and relationships. I have worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults in all types of settings ranging from outpatient therapy to residential treatment. My passion is helping clients help themselves so they can become the best version of themselves. I believe individuals should be in control of their sessions and deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. I understand how uncomfortable it can be to self-disclose to a stranger as I have been in counseling myself which is why I try to provide a nonjudgmental place to explore counseling issues. I have a strong theoretical counseling orientation with Person-Centered Therapy which focuses on creating a safe and non-judgmental environment. I am also a big fan of Solution-Focused Therapy which focuses on helping individuals create meaningful life goals. At times I will use Existentialism which focuses on the meaning of life. Although I have certain preferences for theoretical orientations, I often use an eclectic counseling approach to individualize treatment for clients. I am passionate about helping others and believe empathy is the key to successful counseling relationships. There will be times I will gently challenge clients in sessions, but I aim to do so in a respectful manner that isn't insulting. I look forward to working with you and hope you will enjoy working with me!

Steven "Steve" Miner
As a marriage and family therapist (MFT), practicing in Southeast Idaho, I have over 15 years of mental health experience with the last 6 years focusing on marriage and family issues. I treat a range of relationship issues: couples and marital problems, infidelity, family problems, and child-parent problems. I practice therapy with brief, solution-focused goals. In marriage and family therapy, the unit of treatment isn't just the person - even if only a single person is interviewed - it is the set of relationships in which the person is embedded. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, non-judgemental, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines person-centered, and systems oriented therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I'm clinically trained in: Couples Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Family Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Strategic Family Therapy, and Bowenian Family Therapy. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. Your Authentic Self, Your Strongest Self: Therapy Tailored in a Safe, Supportive Space Hello! I'm Dr. Andrew Mendonsa, a clinical psychologist and therapist with 20+ years of experience helping folks like you navigate life's complexities and embrace their true potential and authentic self. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, those struggling with problematic sexual behavior, kink/alt lifestyle/polyamory-focused issues, and anyone seeking a male therapist's perspective. My journey through the worlds of mental health and addiction – from community mental health and marginalized groups, to the criminal justice system, to high wealth clients and corporate boardrooms – has equipped me with a deep understanding of the challenges clients, especially men and those from specialized populations, face today. I've helped countless individuals overcome shame, guilt, depression, anxiety, stress, grief, and the unique pressures of modern life. As an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist, I offer a safe and judgment-free space to explore your identity, gender, relationships, sexual expression, and sexuality. Whether you're questioning, coming out, or navigating the unique stressors of the LGBTQIA+, kink, alt-pop, or straight communities, I'm here to support you on your journey! For those grappling with problematic sexual behavior that is causing issues with your work, relationships, finance, or other areas, I provide a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to recovery. I will not tell you to stop what you are doing or else, instead we will identify what is motivating your behavior and desire to change. Knowing these, we can then develop a tailored treatment plan and achievable goals. Together, we'll address the underlying issues, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and rebuild a fulfilling life free from shame, guilt, and compulsive behaviors. My extensive background working with high-achieving individuals in business and academia makes me uniquely equipped to understand the pressures of professional life. If you're struggling with work-related stress, burnout, or career transitions, I can offer practical strategies for success and well-being. I have owned, sold, and managed companies and worked in high levels within the public sector. My approach to therapy is collaborative, goal-oriented, and results-driven. I believe therapy should be a catalyst for change, not a lifelong commitment. Think of it like a tune-up for your mind – we'll get you back on track and running smoothly. You wouldn't leave your car in the shop forever, would you? So why force yourself into a lifetime of therapy? I invite you to visit my website, www.AndrewMendonsa.com, to learn more about me and my approach. Let's work together to build a life that is authentic, fulfilling, and true to you.
