Hello and congratulations on taking the first step towards improving your life! It can be unnerving to reach out to a stranger for assistance, knowing you may feel vulnerable in the process. I understand that! It is my goal to create a safe and supportive place for you to express your thoughts and feelings, and where we can work together to assist you in reaching your goals. I have over eighteen years experience working with people who are concerned about a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, relationship issues, trauma and abuse issues, self-esteem issues, boundary issues, religious and crisis-of-faith issues and numerous other concerns. I have a Bachelor’s degree from Cedarville University and a Master’s degree from Liberty University. I am licensed in the State of Idaho. I tend to use Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT) and Acceptance & Commitment (ACT) counseling approaches most frequently, but I believe that no one counseling approach is appropriate for every person, so I will always strive to meet you where you are and assist you within a framework that best meets your needs. My style is warm, practical and down-to-earth. If you feel I might be able to assist you in reaching your personal goals, please reach out! I look forward to the opportunity to get to know you and to provide support as you journey towards those goals!

Bryan Stanfill
I'm Bryan, a licensed therapist in Washington and Idaho. I'm also nationally Board Certified, with additional state and national certifications. My experience includes private practice, school-based, inpatient, residential, and community-based settings. I help others address stress and anxiety, addictions, intimacy-related issues, anger management, & men's issues. Reaching out can be a difficult first step to improving your life. I believe that each of us deserves opportunities to seek health and happiness for our heads and hearts. LIfe presents us with a fast-paced tempo and multitudes of needs that vie for our energies. This can drain us—physically, emotionally, spiritually, and mentally. The goal of my counseling practice is to help each individual establish a path that is more fulfilling. I believe the keys to growth lie within each individual and one of the best ways to uncover them is to take a look at the ways we perceive the world around us and to test our automatic assumptions, and challenge our behavior patterns. My hope is that through the relationships I develop with clients they will see the hope that is in each of them and live more fully and completely. Our problems can be difficult to overcome. Together, we can prove that these challenges are not always insurmountable and that, indeed, life can simply feel better.

Angela Murphy
I'm licensed as a counselor (LPC) in Idaho and Arizona, with five years of therapy experience. My goal is to listen, come alongside, and empower women. I have been trained as a certified clinical trauma professional. I counseled diverse children with trauma for a few years, and for almost two years have been focusing on women. In addition, I have knowledge of religious trauma. I also learned qualitative research in a doctoral certificate program. My own position as a woman, daughter, wife, and mother led me to research women and gender roles. Along with my women's specialization, I bring insight to the complex roots of a client's coping skills that have become dysfunctional. These often stem from cultural and family messaging, trauma and abuse. I support clients in developing new coping skills with self-compassion. I love to continue learning and growing. I use a person-centered, holistic, and eclectic approach tailored to each unique individual. I'm here to help you build relational skills, including how to relate to your own inner self.

Karen Murphree
I am a licensed clinical social worker with over thirty-five years of experience assisting adults and couples with challenges such as stress, depression, anxiety, self-worth, abuse/trauma, chronic and acute health concerns, grief, loss, end of life issues, and finding connections to spirituality apart from traditional organized religion. I was also a licensed practical nurse years ago and have completed a year of health coaching training. I am passionate about the food/mood connection and its bridge between physical and mental health. I have also taken some graduate level courses in complementary and alternative medicine because I also have a special interest in holistic health and healing. I have a very eclectic approach that draws from multiple modalities. I have a background in traditional psychotherapy, but prefer to come from a "whole person" strength-based approach rather than the traditional "illness-based" approach. I like to use the other senses in addition to "the mind" and might make use of music, art, movement, or even aromatherapy approaches. My approach seeks to offer genuine acceptance of who you are right now, helping you discover who you would like to be, and finding ways with you to make progress toward your goals. Edison said, "I have not failed. I have just found 10,000 ways that do not work." I would appreciate an opportunity to look with you to finding ways that DO work for you. Thank you for looking at my information. If you think we might work well together, please get in touch. If you don't feel a connection to me, there are many other very qualified persons on this site. Don't give up! Keep looking till you find someone that you think you would work well with! Someone is out there in the other profiles that would be a good match for you! I wish you the best, and applaud your courage in being willing to take a look at other options for your life if you are feeling troubled.
