I want you to feel comfortable with the process as you explore various options for improving and making the best of your life. I am trained in approaches such as cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapy and I use a trauma-informed approach to create an environment of safety, trustworthiness, collaboration, empowerment, and cultural competence. I realize seeking counseling is not always easy. You have taken the first step to improve and create the life you deserve. You are resilient! I look forward to meeting you and being a part of your journey!

Are you feeling stuck? Therapy is a risky interpersonal adventure; it takes courage to meet yourself in a new way. The anxiety is worth facing safely and discretely. An investment in yourself pays the most significant and long-lasting dividends inside and out. You are unique, your story is unique, and your situation is unique. Yet, many of the things we struggle with are common, internal, and relational struggles that are resolvable with a new awareness and the power of a trusting relationship. My goal is to honor your commitment to your unique vision and healthy relationships. With your willingness and dedication, I hope to take the journey with you to a different level of YOU that is ready and waiting to emerge. You deserve to meet that undiscovered self that can open your life to new possibilities and vibrant relationships. Your transformation is waiting... I am a professional counselor, licensed in the state of Idaho and has been in the mental health field for the past 10 years, starting as a community based specialist, working my way up to counselor. I graduated from Grand Canyon University with an emphasis in trauma in 2019. I was hired as a addiction counselor for an outpatient program right after I got my license and found I am passionate to help people into recovery. My style is casual and welcoming with the ability to help my clients feel comfortable with therapy. I am a natural with cognitive behavioral therapy, and I include other techniques such as mindfulness, acceptance theory, solution focused, person centered, and motivational interviewing. I was transplanted into the Northwest as a young girl in a small community in Eastren Oregon. The closest big city to us was Boise Idaho. After I graduated with my bachlor degree form Eastren Oregon University, I decided to settle in Nampa Idaho in 2012. Summer of 2023 I decided to relocate to West Virginia but I continue to work with the people of Idaho through BetterHelp. I do my best to stay informed in what is happening in the state because of my clients as well as the fact that I also have people I care about personally still there. I am a mother of two boys that have mental health diagnosis and there are many people in my life that struggle with mental health. It is through my personal experiences and relationships that has helped me to develop my approach to therapy. It begins with acceptance of the individual and their personal beliefs and backgrounds that make them who they are. Through compassion, and empathy, I strive to go at the speed and pace of my clients, to help them achieve their personal goals. Making the choice to seek therapy is not easy. Together, we can develop a plan that targets your desired outcome. I am here to help you on your journey to become a better you.

I am licensed in Idaho with 4 years of professional work experience and 16 plus years in the field of mental health and disabilities. My expertise lie in a variety of areas: high level coaching, poc/biracial/multiracial issues, new age spirituality, manifesting/energy work, women empowerment, guiding men who are exploring vulnerability/emotions, transpersonal therapy and soul work. I work best with people who have already done some healing and find they need the next level of support. Here are some more specifics on the work we’ll do together. I help highly sensitive people with what I call “empath 101” or the basics to coping and eventually thriving as a sensitive individual. My style is non-traditional, magical, and highly effective. My process involves understanding our mind, body, and soul and getting those systems balanced and working harmoniously together. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. You are powerful, even if you haven’t tapped into it yet. It is hard to take those steps to change your life. You want something more and you’ve decided you’re going to do something about it. The good news is, you just exercised your power. Now let’s hone it, strengthen it, and perfect it. You are capable of anything and I’m here to walk alongside you on your path. I can’t wait.
