Suzanna Bagley
Hello. My name is Suzanna Bagley and I am Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (license number: 180.009943) in the state of Illinois. I started working a therapist in January 2013. I would like to commend you for taking the steps to get yourself the support you seek. It’s not easy to ask for help. Furthermore, it can be hard to get started when you’re not sure what to expect of the therapeutic process. I typically endeavor to meet my clients wherever they’re at to help put them at ease and help them fulfill their therapeutic goals. I would describe myself as easygoing by nature who sometimes uses humor and positivity to lighten the mood whenever it’s appropriate. If I feel it’s therapeutically relevant, I can be direct to help unpack or process whatever you’re working on. Even when discussing tough topics, I am never critical or judgmental. I work to ensure my clients feel heard and validated. Think of me as your sidekick on your journey toward life and mental health wellness! Here is a little more information about my educational background and therapeutic practice. I have a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in clinical psychology. Depending on my clients’ needs, I utilize the following the theoretical orientations: Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Therapy. Solution-Focused Brief Therapy works best for clients who aren’t able to spend much time in therapy and want to find a solution or resolution to any problem they may present in therapy. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy whenever a client’s negative and/or unrealistic thoughts make them anxious and/or affect their mood. I utilize the Trauma-Informed Therapy to anyone who has experienced any sort of long-term trauma. It entails exploring individual triggers; as well as finding the right approach to help the client manage their emotions and move forward in life. For the sake of simplicity, I kept the therapeutic explanations basic but I would be happy to further explain each therapeutic modality via message or in session. If you feel I would be a good fit, I would be honored to work alongside you on your therapeutic journey.

Dr. Rosita "Rose" Fernandez
Hello! I am Dr. Rose. I am a psychologist with 15 years of experience providing therapy services. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at the Cincinnati VA Medical Hospital and obtained my graduate education from Indiana State University. I am dually licensed in Wisconsin and Indiana. While residing in Indiana, I worked in a very rural and low income area. I am currently based in Wisconsin, where I have the opportunity to work with individuals from both the more populated areas, as well as the rural areas. Additionally, I am based along the I94 corridor, so I have an interest in providing treatment to individuals who are victims of sex trafficking. Other populations I have a strong interest in working with are the LGBTQ+ population, specifically transgender individuals. I also work with individuals with depression, Bipolar, anxiety, ADHD, anger, trauma, self-esteem, and relationship problems. In my work with individuals, I find that it can often be helpful to explore the impact that the childhood upbringing and nuclear family has on present problems and relationships. I typically use an eclectic approach in sessions, adopting a variety of techniques. Some techniques I typically use are Psychodynamic, mindfulness, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Person-centered Therapy. However, I most often use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. My therapeutic approach is first, and foremost, to be real. You can always expect that I will give you honest and direct answers. I am a caring provider and I want you to succeed in being the best person you can be. I will work closely with you as a team to help you accomplish your treatment goals. I do hold the national Psychologist license, which gives you some flexibility in where you have your therapy sessions. However, not every state participates in the national license. If you plan to travel and want to have a therapy session during your travels, please check with me to ensure you will be located in a participating state.
