Hello! My name is Clarence, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor with over 9 years of experience providing therapy services. I have worked in many therapeutic settings, including inpatient adolescent drug and alcohol care, partial and intensive outpatient care, intensive home-based care, and outpatient services. I work with clients affected by depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma, and relationship challenges from individual, group, and family work. My approach to therapy is client-centered: clients are the experts in their lives and determine the direction and depth of therapy. Through a strengths-based and solutions-focused lens, I draw on multiple treatment modalities to guide clients in identifying strengths and developing treatment plans that accomplish their goals. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I assist clients in exploring relationships among thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to aid in discovering dysfunctional thought patterns leading to self-destructive behaviors and beliefs. Outside my work, I am a full-time doctoral student focusing on community care and counseling, specializing in pastoral counseling. As a Christian, I attend church and try to live a life that pleases God. I enjoy reading, hiking, canoeing, camping, walking, star gazing, and just about anything outside. I have a wonderful wife and four grown children. We also are blessed to have two wonderful dogs, Tucker and Bella, and our “purrfect” cat Chloe! I look forward to working with you, and together, we can begin the process of becoming the you that you want to be!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been in practice since 2003. My specialties include working with adults and couples challenged by life changes, family or marital conflict, infertility, grief, anxiety and work difficulty. I believe in creating a safe space to talk through complicated situations. I think bouncing things off someone neutral to a situation can allow us to work through many things. Perspective matters. How we see things impacts our response. I want to support you while challenging your perspective to ensure you are making healthy decisions you feel confident and proud about. Therapy is part of who I am but it isn’t all. I know my experiences outside a therapy practice guide me to being a well rounded confidant.

Greetings! My name is Kelly and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor from Louisville Kentucky. I am a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Arts in Gender and Women’s Studies (with an emphasis in Social Inequalities and a minor in African American Studies), I obtained a Masters of Education from Lindsey Wilson College in Counseling and Human Development; I am currently pursuing a PhD in Counseling Education and Supervision. In over a decade I have been intentional in my professional pursuits and have experience empowering youth and adults in a variety of populations and service environments including outpatient, acute inpatient, and residential treatment. Prior to my current work as a counselor for patients receiving medication assisted treatment I served in Behavioral Health management, as a therapist in a rehabilitation hospital serving patients with complicated grief issues, I built a mobile assessment team for a hospital system serving 6 rural hospitals, managed a growing outpatient clinic servicing children and adults with behavioral health issues, and worked in community mental health leading an Assertive Community Treatment Team providing intensive care for patients with severe and persistent mental illness. I began my career leading an Adult Day treatment Program (then transitioning to Case Management) for patients with Traumatic Brain Injuries. I believe that good clinicians are well rounded and actively engage my community by serving on a number of Boards and community based initiatives; I is currently the President of the NAMI Kentucky Board of Directors. As a Counselor, an advocate, a teacher, a trainer, and lifelong student, my personal motto “A heart for people, a passion for restoration, and a spirit to serve." illustrates my ever growing desire to support, revive, and rebuild those underserved and marginalized within my community. I want you to know that you matter to me, your wellness matters to me, and together we can work to pursue your best.
