Hi, I’m Jenise, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Board Approved Clinical Supervisor practicing in Louisiana since 2007. I graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a bachelors degree in psychology then earned my masters degree in social work from Southern University of New Orleans. My interest in the mental health field began in high school when I took a psychology class. This is when I realized I had a true interest in this work and wanting to help people with their life and mental health struggles. I currently work with adults on a multitude of life difficulties but focus primarily on depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, family stressors, anger management, low self esteem, mood difficulties, and overall life stressors. My therapeutic style is very client centered and eclectic, I utilize mindfulness, solution focused and cognitive behavioral therapy with my clients. I work with sincerity, compassion and nonjudgement and provide an environment where you can feel safe and comfortable to discuss your concerns and goals.
