During the past 30 years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have practiced psychotherapy for more than 20 years and am licensed in both Louisiana and Florida. I have helped and guided individuals, couples and families as they navigate life and family issues in their communities as well as the hospital setting. One's behavior often affects those around us. We all respond to the issues of the people closest to us. They have experienced depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, addiction, grief and just issues managing what life throws at them! I work from a cognitive behavior model. This means I deal with both thought and behavior as I apply therapeutic services inside the understanding that mindfulness and awareness are especially important. I have utilized other modalities should the client need or prefer them. I am very empathetic towards my clients and work towards instilling a positivity in their lives that may be missing. I get excited as I watch clients begin to meet the goals, they have set for themselves. I often give “homework” to clients between sessions. This is helpful in providing insight to both of us. Remember, this is a journey of learning and awareness. Homework allows us to document growth experiences and skills training. I believe picking a therapist is one of your most important priorities. Your therapy should be driven by you. It should meet your needs. I want you to feel comfortable working with me. I am always open to suggestions for your therapy, as you know what works best for you, and you will work better if you are engaged in the process. As humans, we do not like change, but if you are willing to begin those baby steps, I am willing to travel though the rain and the sunshine.

Hi there! My name is Kacey Ardoin, and I am a clinical social worker licensed in Louisiana, Texas, Arizona, and Utah. I have been practicing in the social work field for about 9 years. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Georgia, and then went on to pursue my Master of Social Work degree with a clinical concentration. I have worked with clients in multiple settings and have experience with both group and individual therapy. My work has been primarily focused on helping people overcome depression and anxiety, especially as it relates to improving their overall health (physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual). One of my greatest passions is suicide prevention, especially working with survivors of suicide loss. I have also worked in addiction and substance abuse recovery, and I greatly enjoyed seeing people reach the other side of their struggles. Other areas that I enjoy working with include relationship issues, self-esteem issues, and grief. My counseling style is empathetic and person-centered. I believe everyone deserves to be heard and treated with mutual respect. I align with a person-centered, solution-focused therapy model, while also using cognitive-behavioral therapy and reality therapy techniques. I am also certified as a Problem Solving Treatment Practitioner and like to incorporate these principles into sessions when they may be helpful. I especially enjoy working with people who are ambivalent about making a change in their lives, and I enjoy utilizing motivational interviewing techniques when possible. If you are feeling stuck, there is a reason - and I would love to work through that with you! Whether this is your first time in counseling or your hundredth time, I believe you have the power to break down whatever wall is standing in your way today. It takes strength to reach out for support, and for that, I want to congratulate you on your courage today! Thank you for your time and I look forward to working together.

I love counseling individuals, couples, and families from all social classes and standings. I am respective of all people and social classes. I embrace respect for multi-cultural counseling. My experience includes service to civilian and military populations for thirty-six years as a military service member and as a federal employee. I am well experienced and prepared to address the concerns associated with the demands of the military and civilian lifestyles. My goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying comprehensive therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life. If you're looking for support and guidance through a challenging situation or you are just ready to move in a new direction. I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals. I accept a client’s immediate family relationships and larger social context as being important resources in solving life’s problems. Goals for therapy are always established through collaboration with the client. The overall objective for therapy is always the successful resolution of the problems that are deemed the most important through that collaborative process. I practice an integrated approach. I believe that our initial assessment should indicate to us what would appear to be most likely to help the client achieve individual goals. I practice responsible selection of appropriate theory, model, and interventions. I work from a people-oriented approach, which means that I assist couples and families in organizing their relationships so that resources can be brought to bear on the problems being presented. Techniques that I often employ are instruction and modeling of communication skills, interactive processes, family role-playing, and family sculpting, and between-session interactive assignments. Additionally, homework is a vital part of the therapeutic process. The completion of homework is necessary if the client is to get the most from the therapeutic experience. My training includes family systems theory and models such as Bowenian Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Object Relations Therapy. I also use Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Reality Therapy and Multi-Model Therapy. I employ Client-centered approaches such as Rogerian and Psychoanalytic type theories and models just to name a few. Rest assured that I believed that you are of great value and it is my intent to help you raise that awareness to a meaningful understanding resulting in increased self-worth! I hold License # 880 as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with the LPC Board of Examiners, 8631 Summa Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA 70809, and 225-765-2515. I also hold License # LPC005547 as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with the The Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists, 237 Coliseum Drive, Macon, GA 31217. I have a Master of Divinity from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary; A Master of Arts in Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg Virginia; A Master of Science in Community Counseling with a concentration in Marriage and Family Counseling from Columbus State University in Columbus Georgia; a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Luther Rice Seminary in Lithonia Georgia (Atlanta Georgia); and a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University. Hi, I am Tiaira Willis- Haynes. I have been providing therapeutic services for over 5 years. I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who is Nationally Certified. I received my Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2018. My favorite theoretical orientation is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I graciously believe how we think and behave plays a role in our current struggles. I also utilize Solution Focused Therapy when problems need to be resolved quickly. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and loved ones. I started this helping journey when I first entered college. As I navigated my way into adulthood, I found myself to always be the person others were drawn to in their time of need. I then learned my strongest therapeutic skills were being openminded while listening and showing empathy towards others. A high percentage of my caseload involves those struggling with anxiety, anger, depression, family or relationship conflict, domestic violence, parenting, life skills, and stress. The joy I get when I realize I am helping someone makes this career worthwhile. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support, encourage, listen, and empower you. I look forward to working with you!
