Jessica Orndoff
Welcome! Congratulations on taking this next step in your journey to becoming the best version of yourself. Starting therapy, whether you have never been in counseling before or are trying a new way to connect with a counselor, can be scary, and I hope learning more about me and how I approach counseling helps you feel more comfortable. I am a 2008 graduate of the University of Maryland School of Social Work and I have been practicing clinical social work as a therapist in private practice for the past ten years. I have worked with people of all ages, experiencing a wide range of conditions, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and difficulty adjusting to life changes. I approach therapy from a holistic perspective, incorporating a number of theoretical perspectives, based on your needs. I draw from cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness, and other approaches. Therapy is a collaborative process, starting with where you are, identifying your strengths and needs, and working together to set goals to help you get to where you want to be. I am non-judgmental, open, and committed to the core social work values: service, social justice, dignity and worth of the person, the importance of human relationships, integrity and competence. I hope that you will feel comfortable sharing your story with me, and that the therapeutic relationship we will build will help you feel welcomed, safe and understood. *If you would like to work with me, please note that my availability for live sessions for new clients is currently limited to what is shown on my schedule.* If this does not match with your availability, please consider selecting a different counselor, as my availability is not likely to change in the near future. I wish you the best on your journey, and hope we have the opportunity to work together.

Holly Powell
I am a licensed certified social worker-clinical (LCSW-C) in Maryland. I have been in the field for 15+ years working primarily with children, adolescents and young adults. My primary focus has been on attachment, anxiety, trauma, anger and related concerns. Due to the nature of the settings in my background, I have often utilized a client centered, solution focused approach, initially and then modified to cognitive behavioral, motivational interviewing or a more eclectic approach based on the goals of those that seek support. I tend to have a relaxed and calm demeanor which I utilize during sessions. I enjoy learning about people and look forward to meeting you!

Sarah Henson
Hello! My name is Sarah Henson. I am licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Maryland who has five years of clinical work experience, and over ten years of paraprofessional support experience in the Grief and Loss, Caregiving Support, and End of Life Counseling Support fields. I specialize in helping clients cope with grief and loss and to adjust to a variety of changes in their lives such as caregiving for a loved one at end-of-life. Grief and anticipatory grief is unique an experience as is the relationship you have/had with your loved one. Expressing your thoughts and feelings during the grief process promotes healthy adjustment to the loss, and often reduces the severity of emotional distress and/or even possibly prevents the development of prolonged grief disorder. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey. Please note, my availability as a support to you on this platform is limited to residents of the state of Maryland. Also, given the limitations of my availability and the mode of on-line therapy, any urgent emotional support needs should be met by an immediate professional mental health support provider such as a mental health crisis response provider/team. My hours of availability are generally only weekly video sessions, and also weekly follow up messaging. At the onset of our deciding if our therapeutic relationship is a good fit, I may ask about your expectations of support needs, and also your willingness/ability to engage with supports outside this platform if I recommend them.

Diana Jennings-Pollard
I am a Mental health Therapist with over 24years of experience working as a psychotherapist and life coach. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD, and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. My therapy style is empathic, warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with dignity, respect, sensitivity, and compassion, no judging, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychotherapy (talk therapy), psychoeducation and mindfulness. I will tailor our dialog and individualized treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. If you believe the phrase "you are what we think", then life truly stems from your thoughts. But we cannot rely purely on thoughts; we must translate thoughts into words and eventually into actions in order to manifest our intentions. Being in the present to openness, trust, and nonjudgmental I am here to give support encouragement and to empower you. I look forward to working with you!
