Pamela Byrd
I am the founder and owner of PBMJ Consultants and Associates, L.L.C. located in Baltimore, Maryland and established in 2012. As a licensed clinician and board-certified supervisor; I believe a cognitive behavioral approach to therapy along with the use of wholistic supportive techniques will help clients become more aware of the impact challenges of life have on thoughts and behavior. I completed my BS, MS and post graduate studies at Johns Hopkins University; and I am a public speaker and facilitator who cares and is willing to share how to attain a better way of life. I have traveled and trained nationally and internationally with a combination of over 20 years of professional, academic and personal experiences. During my years as a licensed practitioner and clinical supervisor, I counseled thousands of clients and trained hundreds of individuals in the counseling profession. As a mental health provider I offer the following services: grief counseling, anger management, stress management; conflict resolution; gambling and substance dependence counseling; professional seminars and workshops. I have counseled people from all walks of life and believe true healing begins – in spirit, mind and body - when change is made and a wholistic approach to life is experienced.

Erin Clegg
I am a Clinical Social Worker licensed in Maryland and the District of Columbia with 15 years’ experience as a therapist, clinical consultant, and trauma trainer. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Throughout my practice, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families struggling to manage their emotional and behavioral health due to the impact of trauma, maltreatment, grief, loss, mental health challenges, and stressful life experiences. My style is warm, compassionate, and strengths-based. I believe that everyone deserves a safe space free of judgment and open to exploration. My approach is grounded in healing-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive interactions that promote empowerment. My practice integrates the latest research in neuroscience, trauma, attachment theory, and cognitive-behavioral techniques. I believe in leveraging the healing power of the brain-body connection. Stress and adverse experiences can impact how we experience ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us. I partner with my clients to explore how their past and present experiences may impact how they think, feel, and act. By raising awareness of body signals, triggers, and patterns of responses, we position ourselves to identify and reinforce restorative pathways that promote growth and healing. Together, we develop strategic and personalized interventions that build upon their unique set of strengths, meaningful connections, and interests to help them achieve goals one step at a time. I believe that attuned and responsive relationships are essential to transformational healing and growth. Everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and valued for who they are, not simply what they do. As your partner in this process, you can count on me to be fully engaged, meet you where you are, and affirm your worth every step of the way. The therapeutic process should be intriguing, empowering, and rewarding throughout the journey. I look forward to working with you!

Martrell Kelly John
At times life experiences are overwhelming, compromising, and/or traumatizing. No life is without challenges or cookie cut. This can include physical/mental illness or disability, severed relationships or divorce, death, abuse, assault, or accidents. Challenges may occur from simply trying to manage expectations, performance demands, self-confidence, or self-identity. I am passionate about helping individuals grow through challenging experiences. I have over ten years of experience engaging with families, children, adolescents, and adults in behavioral/mental health, hospice, bereavement, foster care, adoption, disability, and educational settings. It is my belief that every individual has unique strengths and resiliency. By utilizing a holistic and diverse approach, together, we can navigate the process of adjustment, exploring, and learning techniques that are specific to your needs in a safe, caring, and non-judgmental environment. My goal is to help you achieve emotional and mental wellness and increased awareness of your needs and values for an improved daily functioning and meaningful life.
