Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to learn more about me! My name is Rebecca, and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Maine, as well as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the states of New York and Florida. I currently reside in upstate NY and have two amazing little humans. With more than 10 years of experience across various settings, I offer supportive therapy for situations including: LGBTQ+, depression, anxiety, trauma histories, life transitions, and varying mental health disorders. “Anxiety can feel as huge as the big, blue sea, but remember that the sea is made up of smaller waves”. Sometimes life doesn’t make sense, we feel as though we're lost at sea, and our own navigational devices aren’t working. I provide a safe space to break life down into smaller more manageable waves, supporting individuals with redefining their navigational systems. I work with folks who are ready to unapologetically show up for themselves, find inner joy, and let that shit shine bright! I offer space that is warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental. I help you to heal past hurts and traumas; move through life from a place of empowerment, resiliency and courage; along with finding pride in your most genuine- authentic self. “You can never cross the ocean until you have the courage to lose sight of the shore”. Therapy isn’t always easy, but it’s my goal to swim alongside you in order to provide support in navigating your way through the waves into calmer seas. We will work collaboratively to make change and meet your goals. Pronouns: She/They

I have been licensed as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Maine since 2007, after graduating from University of Maine. In that time, I have worked in inpatient settings, residential treatment, day treatment, outpatient clinics, and clients' homes, addressing issues including anxiety, depression, addiction, parenting, family conflict, adoption related needs, life change, and trauma. People come to me with pain and often shame about the issues they face. I want you to know that you don’t have to worry about judgement from me. No one comes to therapy because everything is great in their lives, we all do things we wish we hadn’t, and things happen to us that we don’t know how to talk about. This is a safe place to begin exploring those things you can’t talk about elsewhere. I will challenge you, because challenging ourselves and each other is how growth happens; it may sometimes be uncomfortable (kind of like exercise), but it will always be with respect. Regardless of what issues my clients come with or what setting we are in, I understand that you are the experts in your own lives. You know your history, and you set your goals. My job is to help you create a road map and travel with you to that goal. To do so, I primarily employ evidence based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This is a form of treatment that helps people understand their thoughts and emotions and to learn concrete skills that will help them better manage their responses. I use evidence-based treatments, because you deserve the most effective therapy I can provide. We know from years of study that Cognitive Behavioral Therapy works for most people, and I will help figure out how to best tailor that to fit you. I also come from a background in Family Systems Theory. The people who are a part of our lives, and the ways we interact with each other (especially our families) can help us or get in our way. Understanding those dynamics and changing our own behaviors can change the interactions. What is important about both of these approaches is that they put you in control; by understanding ourselves and our interactions with others, we can get more control over our lives. Thank you, and welcome to your journey. I look forward to working with you!

Hello! My name is Catherine Chapman. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Oklahoma. I earned my Masters of Social work from the University of Oklahoma in 2012. I have been a practicing social worker for 10 years and, additionally, am certified in EMDR therapy which I have been utilizing in my practice since 2021. I have experience working in the hospital and medical field to help patients and their families to find the support and resources they need to get through whatever difficult life situation they may be facing. I feel this experience has given me a deeper understanding of the challenges people may face throughout their lives and the various reactions they may have, whether it be anger, grief, depression, or something else, while processing their own health concerns or those of a loved one. I realize that everyone faces these struggles either in their own lives or through someone close to them and that they can be very difficult to comprehend and accept at times. My goal as a therapist is to help people overcome these situations by providing them a better understanding and tools to guide them through these hard times. My methods focus on using the Strength Based Perspective, Person-in-Environment Perspective, EMDR, and Solution Focused Therapy. I believe you are the expert in your own life and I hope to help you recognize the strengths in yourself while offering support and a non-judgmental sounding board. I will take our time together seriously and give you my full attention to best help you. I look forward to working with you!
