Many of us have trouble with anxiety once in a while but for some, it is a daily struggle. You may not be able to function because you are so worried about having an anxiety attack or something else if you go anywhere or do anything. Trenton has many devoted therapists who specialize in anxiety disorders.
With an anxiety disorder, you cannot fully enjoy all of the fun things to do in Trenton like the Trenton Historical Museum, Elizabeth Park, and North McLouth Park. It may be a good idea to talk with a therapist in Trenton today, so you can enjoy these things again.

Natasha Wagner
I have been fortunate to work with people in all stages across the life-span, as a counselor and life coach for 20 years. I have a B.A. in Early Childhood Education from Western Michigan University and have taught at the preschool and early elementary level. I also have training as a birth and postpartum doula. My M.A., also through WMU, is in Community Agency Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Michigan and Arizona. I was fortunate to offer counseling for elderly residents of long-term care facilities in Branch County, MI for five years. My pronouns are she/her. Most recently I have combined my passion for helping people with my interest in multiculturalism. I am a certified diversity trainer with National Coalition Building Institute and have spent twelve years working with international high school exchange students throughout every aspect of their program experience, from placement to support throughout their program year. I was very happy to complete training through Bennett Stellar University in Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Hypnotherapy in 2013 and have found the coaching skills gained there to be a tremendous addition to my counseling background. My approach to counseling varies depending on the needs of the client and combines all aspects of my own background and training to work effectively with a diverse range of clients at all points in the life cycle. My counseling style is warm, compassionate, and interactive. I use an eclectic blend of cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and mindfulness techniques along with Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and hypnotherapy to help you reach your goals. Together we will explore the messages you have absorbed from the world around you and re-frame the subconscious messages you give yourself so that you can find peace, happiness, and success. I look forward to getting to know you!

Dr. Jillian Graves
Hello. I am Dr. Jillian Graves, a licensed clinical social worker (LMSW), in the state of Michigan. I have experience working with adults, adolescents and families in both group and individual sessions. I have the most experiencing working with anger management, trauma, anxiety, parenting issues, mood disorders and workplace issues. I earned my MSW at Smith College and then went on to earn a Ph.D. in social work at Bryn Mawr, where my dissertation work focused on emerging adult (18-29-year-old) siblings of people with schizophrenia. As you might guess, working with siblings of people with mental illness and adolescent and young adult development are specialties of mine as well. I believe that the most important work in therapy is the relationship. Establishing trust and solid communication is important and with that in mind, therapy is a collaborative process where I am here to help you set goals, provide support and offer insight. I have an eclectic approach to therapy, using approaches such as psychodynamic theory (including attachment theory), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, solution-focused treatment and narrative approaches. Making meaning, improving communication and understanding the ways that our personal histories shape us are important areas to focus on in therapy as well. Beginning therapy is difficult but I will be here to work with you every step of the way and if you have additional questions for me, please do not hesitate to ask. I look forward to working with you.
