Hello and Welcome! I am glad that you are here. I am a Licensed Psychologist in Minnesota. For over 25 years, I have worked as a therapist with many clients with various issues, including anxiety, depression, stress management, relationship issues, parenting problems, grief and loss, and trauma. My counseling style is warm and supportive. I use a person-centered approach focusing on the individual's strengths. Identifying one's strengths and coping skills that can be used to help work through various issues is an essential part of my therapy approach. I believe in building a relationship that is trusting, respectful, and comfortable. I will work with you on achieving your goals and getting what you want out of therapy. I believe that each individual can overcome struggles. Sometimes, having additional support in therapy can help identify better and recognize the coping skills and strengths they already possess. My hours are generally 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Thursday and until 3:00 pm on Friday. I like to start this process with an intake to make sure that we are a good match. I ask that you do not schedule an appointment until this short process is completed. You have taken the first step in your journey to being a happier, healthier you. I would be honored to assist you on this journey.

Crystal Hackett
Hello! My name is Crystal and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Minnesota. I graduated from St. Cloud State University in 2006 and I have about 16 years of counseling experience under my belt. In those years, I have had the pleasure of working with individuals, couples and families in both residential and outpatient settings. Most of the people I have worked with have been those that have experienced significant trauma; however, I have also been able to work with those experiencing daily life stressors. I have been told by many that I am easy to talk to and that is my main goal. I wish to offer an unbiased, non-judgmental, validating, and caring experience to those who are seeking help. Taking the first step to engage in therapy is difficult enough and it is my hope to offer comfort and reassurance during the process. The approaches that I tend to gravitate towards are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Client Centered, and Solution Focused. I believe with a mixture of these modalities most people can find their way through their tough times and get to a point where they feel more comfortable with life. I definitely look forward to going on the journey with you to get to a better place with life and yourself.

My style is warm, casual, inviting, and patient. Person-centeredness has been at the center of my education and career. Therefore, I start with where you are at and focus on what's important to you. Much of my experience has been 1:1 with adults. I have a lot of experience working with the geriatric population as well as those that suffer from depression and anxiety. I come from a non-judgmental and empathetic place. If you are familiar with enneagrams, I am an enneagram type 2, meaning I'm empathetic, sincere, and warm-hearted. I have always taken on the role of a helper and enjoy walking and navigating through tough times with individuals. I also have been in a leadership position for much of my career, so I have a lot of experience in coaching and guiding within employee development. Reaching out can be very vulnerable.
