I have experience providing therapy services to children and their families in community mental health setting, and, most recently, I was a residential owner and therapist at ASA House. Then went to Eunoia, however they closed. So I now have my own therapy practice in my home. I have worked with older children, adolescents, and adults primarily who struggle with mental illness, developmental disorders, chemical dependency, behavioral problems, trauma, self -harm, fetal alcohol , and attachment issues. I have lived in various areas of Minnesota throughout my life, and currently reside in Gaylord, MN, with my husband and three children. I enjoy traveling, and all the experiences that go along with it. I have had the pleasure of providing mental health and other related services to individuals and families in various settings for the past 12 years, and find my truest passion lies in providing direct counseling services to those in need.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has worked with thousands of people over the past 15 years. I work best with people who have a desire for self growth, want to increasing their self awareness and believe in a higher power to assist with achieving this. We are so much more than our thoughts and emotions. My approach primarily focuses on developing self awareness by teaching people how to understand their thoughts, behaviors and emotions. I use a variety of styles that focus on Positive Psychology including but not limited to Hypnotherapy, Eneagram, Inner Child and Parts Work, ACT, CBT, Solution Focused and Existential . We unconsciously think, behave and feel certain ways about ourselves, others and/or the world and want to change but don't know how. We also over think trying to fix an issue, however, it clearly does not work and often does more harm than good. I am passionate about the use of insight oriented techniques such as mindfulness, meditation and hypnosis. I became Certified as a Hypnotherapist by the National Guild of Hypnotists in 2016 and have extensive clinical hypnosis training through the Minnesota Society of Clinical Hypnosis . I have over 200 hours of education training in various hypnosis methods. I have been utilizing hypnotherapy in my mental health practice and have witnessed incredible change that people were unable to achieve through talk therapy alone . Hypnotherapy assists with uncovering and healing the unconscious blocks that contribute to unwanted, repeating patterns. Nicole Hubbs
Hello, my name is Nikki Hubbs. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Minnesota, with over 10 years of experience working with children and adolescents (ages 5-18) in an in-school setting, as well as adult individuals and families in a clinical setting. I have worked with children, teens, adults, and families with a variety of concerns and life challenges such as depression, anxiety, oppositional defiant disorder, social concerns, trauma, gender identity concerns, grief and loss, behavioral issues, relationship issues, parenting problems, addiction, suicidality, communication barriers, eating disorders, cognitive distortions, OCD, ADHD, and social, relational, and self-esteem difficulties. As a therapist, I try to remain open-minded, unbias and curious with each and every person I work with, allowing me to better understand the unique experiences, struggles, and issues each individual may be facing. I recognize the uncomfortableness, uneasiness, and uncertainty that therapy may bring so therefore, I try to lessen those feelings by always utilizing genuine compassion, empathy, understanding, and listening. I believe it take strength and courage for a person to reach out for help, to recognize they are unable to do it alone, and to take the first steps towards making change for themselves. Each client's situation is different, so therefore, treatment plans are individualized and uniquely tailored to address identified issues and concerns that each client has and would like to work towards changing for the better. I utilize and combine a multitude of therapeutic approaches and interventions in therapy, most often using a Humanistic, Person-Centered Approach, some other examples are; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Strategic Family Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy. I commend you for recognizing the want and need for change within yourself, and that sometimes life's challenges are bigger than what we are able to handle alone. Please know you are not alone and I am here to help. Thanks :)

Dr. Jennifer Gildner
Hi there! Thanks for taking a look at my services. I am licensed to meet with people in Washington and California. I am scheduled for video/phone sessions Monday through Wednesday, check messages each weekday, and I am not scheduled to meet or check messages at weekends. If this schedule works for you, I hope you'll continue reading to get an idea about how I work with clients. Empowerment occurs when we transform intention to action. I have a collaborative yet challenging approach in my work with individual clients. Your mind is where intention moves toward action. I see it as my job to help you find answers that are already within you from a strengths-based approach. Because we are working together collaboratively, you have the freedom to express what you need from psychotherapy and I will want to spend time exploring how your cultural background impacts your presenting concerns. You're also in therapy for change and that's where my ability to challenge you comes in. I can provide a positive relationship in which you can learn about yourself and grow. Further, mindfulness is a large part of how I approach our work together, particularly as you are working toward new thoughts and behaviors with the goal of improving your life in general. If all this sounds like what you're looking for, I look forward to hearing from you!
