Raymond Butts
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and a National Certified Counselor, ( NCC) with other 30 years experience in both counseling and education. I started my professional career as an elementary special education teacher in the early 80's. I obtained my M.Ed in counselor Education in 1989 from the University of Arkansas and in 1989 I went to Alaska for the first time as along term substitute teacher. I worked in the Bering Strait School District, in Unalakleet, Alaska. I would return a year later, and work a total of 11 years as a teacher, itinerant school counselor, and village school principal in the district. I would go on to work in two other school districts before retiring from Alaska in 2004. After returning to Arkansas, and home, I worked as a kindergarten counselor in a center with 180 kids and 18 teachers. I fully retired in 2007. In 2009, I became a military and family life counselor and have been doing this for 10 years. My treatment approach is based on my training and my personality. I was trained in CCT and it fite my style, even though I so specialize in crisis counseling. I have found helping the client, and not necessarily directing the client is more effective for me. As I stated I specialize in crisis and PTSD counseling right now with the military, and their families.

Gale Green
Welcome! I’m Gale Green, M.A., L.P.C. and I appreciate the willingness and trust you have taken to address an issue you would like to examine. With that in mind, allow me to share who I am and what I can offer to you. I began this part of my life journey after working in many industries and at many jobs. After my children were grown and gone, I decided to pursue my lifelong career dream of counseling people. After returning to school and obtaining my Master's Degree, I took early retirement to begin my new career. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Missouri for eighteen years. During these years I worked with many individuals and families - active duty military families, refugees and immigrants that fled war and torture; incarcerated individuals and their families, as well as ordinary couples and families who seek to improve their lives. Please know that along with my professional training and licensing, I bring the addition of my many decades of life experiences that, I believe, have proven invaluable to my empathy and understanding of where you may be in your life. I strive, first and foremost, to LISTEN. If I don’t do that, I will not know what you need or what we will need to do together to address your reasons for counseling. The therapeutic approaches that I have found most effective are Solution Focused Therapy, Eclectic Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. You may not know what any of these therapies mean. THAT’S OKAY! These therapies are merely a way to help me determine the best way to help you feel comfortable, to help you identify your true problem and provide a framework to help me help you find ways for you to manage or eliminate the concern that brought you to counseling. My goal is to always be empathetic and supportive of your thoughts, ideas, and needs. Honesty is an invaluable part of therapy and I will always aim to help you feel safe enough to be honest with yourself, so that you can be honest with me, as we collaborate to meet your therapy goals. Judgment is not a part of how I function. Ultimately, my overarching desire is to LISTEN, be SUPPORTIVE, and HELP YOU IDENTIFY your true reason for counseling NOW, and then work with you to achieve your counseling goals with open and honest communication. At this time, I am only accepting clients that are 21 and older and that reside in the State of Missouri or countries outside of the USA. If you think you would like to give working with me a try, I would be most honored to work with you.

Roian Baalman
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Missouri and Texas, credentialed in substance abuse counseling as a Certified Reciprocal Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CRADC). I have over 6-years of professional work experience, including but not limited to helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, trauma and abuse, grief and loss, career counseling, spirituality, motivation, self-esteem and confidence, imposter syndrome, emotional intelligence, childhood trauma, sexual trauma, abandonment, rejection, safety, and security issues. I have also worked with clients with clinical mental illnesses and personality disorders. I spent time training and working in Behavioral Health and Substance Use Agencies before going into private practice (see The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Illnesses). Additionally, I am well-versed in Medicated-Assisted-Treatment (MAT). Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the Human Services field for ten years with individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities. I also have a vast array of personal life experience in the areas in which I specialize. While I do not think we must have experienced what our fellow man/woman is going through to empathize with them, I believe that, in my case, it directed my path to the field of therapy/counseling. My therapeutic approach will be tailored to your specific needs, and you and I will work together to determine your therapy goals. It's okay if you don't know or feel the list is too long to mention. Together we will find the answers you are looking for to help guide you in your journey. I will work with you to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. The first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life is courage. I am here to support you in that process, and I am so proud of you for taking that first step already. (Office hours flexible: 9 am to 6 pm and Saturday)
