Stephanie Ehmke
Hi! My name is Stephanie and I am a licensed professional counselor who loves to help individuals experience and maintain emotional health. I have 13 years of counseling experience in private practice settings. Life is hard and navigating through emotional pain and stress can be more than most people can handle alone. Counseling offers those who are hurting the opportunity to have another person walk with them in their pain, offering support and guidance. My counseling style is non-judgmental and very relational, offering hope and grace to all in the midst of their brokenness and struggles. I work with a wide variety of clients and issues with a special focus in the areas of self-esteem/self-worth and grief/loss due to death, divorce, life transitions, or unfulfilled life expectations. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you!

Stephanie Wideman
Hi there! I am so glad you are here. Take a moment. Yes, right now, take a deep breath. I’ll be here. Exhale. Be proud of yourself. Today, you showed up. You are here and you are willing to consider taking the next step. Well done! I believe, life is full of emotion. It makes us laugh and cry… sometimes both in the same moment. It can be hard as we journey through it to see the forest for the trees… to see beauty instead of pain. Wherever you are along your journey you do not have to travel alone. My name is Stephanie Wideman. I am a licensed clinical social worker based in Missouri. I have 20 years of experience coming alongside others, from children to older adults, on their journey as a guide. You will always lead, because we are going where you want to go. Together we can forge a path of perspective and self awareness; replacing lies with truth and be able to take in all of the beauty of the journey along the way. Each person's destination and goals are unique. My guidebook (clinical approach techniques) is diverse. Be prepared to roll up your sleeves, because I believe you get out of therapy what you put into it. I am a Christian and draw my clinical approaches heavily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (known as CBT) aligned with the Biblical principles of grace, love, and mercy. At all times, as your guide it is important to me that you feel safe, respected, heard, encouraged, empowered, and challenged. Yes, we can do hard things. Now, you did not come this far to only come this far. Grab your favorite mug and find a place of solace. Let’s journey through together.

Heather Nash
I have been licensed in Missouri since 2007 and through the years I have worked with children, teens and adults in group and therapeutic settings. Outside of a traditional counseling setting, I have worked with youth, adults and families within the Missouri Foster Care system for the majority of my career. A little history on how I got here! Growing up, I wanted to be a rockstar, teacher, ballerina, and veterinarian. What I ended up realizing is that I had a pull towards wanting to understand human behavior and to help people be the best versions of themselves. I went to a small liberal arts college and majored in psychology and then attended Saint Louis University for my Masters degree in Community Counseling, graduating in 2004. And here I am! During my professional career, I have gained an understanding of the affects of Trauma and how to identify and process trauma responses. I have training in EMDR which provides me an understanding around how stuck points connected to life experiences can keep an individual from moving forward. I am very solution focused in my approach and I want to help the client identify ways to move forward without getting bogged down in the past. Most of all, I believe the most important part of counseling is to provide an active ear and to be present while walking through an experience with the client. The client is the expert in their life and my purpose is to help them to see what they already know, which is all the strength they bring to the table.

I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you!
