Hi! My name is Marissa Kent and I am a licensed professional counselor in the states of Mississippi and Louisiana. I have over a decade's worth of experience in the mental health field, the last eight of those years working with various populations as a counselor/therapist. I have worked with individuals dealing with a range of concerns and have the most experience with depression, anxiety and stress, anger management, and relationship issues. I got into the field of counseling because I love helping people. There are few things better than seeing someone reach a goal or fulfill their potential. I believe in treating people with respect and getting to know their story. It helps me gain a deeper understanding for who they are, the family and cultural values, beliefs, and traditions they hold dear, and the goals they would like to achieve in counseling. My approach in counseling is an eclectic mix that primarily combines cognitive behavioral and person-centered techniques, but the specifics of how I work with each individual is as unique as the individual. My name is Dr. Tashinika Crowley and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor for the state of Mississippi. I have over 7 years of experience in working with adults, adolescents, and the prison population. I received my PhD in Social Work from Jackson State University in 2020, and my Master's in Counseling from Mississippi College in 2013. I truly believe in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy because I believe that if a person can change the way that they think, this can change the way that they behave. I have used this approach with many of my clients and have had the greatest success with this approach.

I’m Janet Hardy (she/her). I provide telemental health counseling, or “online counseling,” to adults with a broad spectrum of concerns, including parenting, relationships, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I work with young adults, parents, and the LGBTQIA+ community. Human beings are complex creatures. When problems occur, it is often a combination of many factors such as environment, learned behaviors, values, biology, society, development, chemistry, culture, systems, and personal narrative. Therefore, addressing these problems requires an integrated approach that accounts for these various factors. Therapy begins with developing a strong therapeutic relationship in which the client can feel safe to explore their emotions and vulnerabilities. To facilitate this therapeutic relationship, I use a person-centered approach that emphasizes empathy, congruence, and unconditional positive regard for each client I work with.
