At some point in our life, we all face the unexpected, whether it be the loss of someone important, a job, financial struggles, pain and sickness, or any of the other things life throws our way. It is helpful to have someone to talk to and offer a listening ear and perhaps some different perspective during those times. I hope to provide those things to my clients, as well as utilizing my experience and training to help others through the tough times. 2 Corinthians 1:4 I tend to be client centered, meeting clients where they are and help them reach where they want to go.

I am a trauma therapist in Montana with ten years of pastoral experience prior to attending social work school. My background, while grounded in pastoral ministry, also comes from the liberal side, with a basis of acceptance and gentleness for all, regardless of gender, sexuality, race or creed. I have worked with all age groups in both careers, moving seamlessly from youth work to sitting gently with people facing chronic illness and end of life issues. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and I'm working on training in Internal Family Systems. I've spent years working with co-occurring disorders and finding that most of my clientele were struggling with trauma issues. PTSD is one of the most common disorders to be complicated by substance use disorders. I've worked as well with Multi-Systemic Therapy, and have a passion for finding ways to allow my clients to regain control where chaos has taken over. For the last two years I've concentrated on teenagers in a group home setting - more trauma and more co-occurring disorders and more work to get families to engage as well. LCSW: 11 years. Ordained United Church of Christ: 28 years. Offering CBT, EMDR, client focused work in mood disorders, trauma and process addictions, also work with LGBT issues.

My focus is working with individuals. I am an experienced Baby Boomer having endured multiple losses and difficult life transitions. I have tremendous empathy for those trying to maneuver life's valleys. My style is attentive, respectful, and non-judgmental. I have earned two Masters degrees and four Post-Masters, all to better help clients. If you desire to change aspects of your life, you can start a journey in therapy and explore the answers you may already hold. Clients often have the answers, but they just need to process them. I was taught to listen 80 percent and reflect 20 percent during a session. This is because a therapy session is all about you. It is your time to explore your fears and dreams and how you hold the key to make meaningful changes. Let's be honest, though, it is not easy to open up to a stranger. But, once you start walking, a new you will be waiting to soar.

Cynthia Boyle
Hi. My name is Cindy and I am a national certified counselor(NCC) and licensed counselor in Iowa (LMHC0 and Michigan (LPC). I have had a private practice for 12+ years where I provide individual, couple and group counseling. I am a former president of the Iowa Mental Health Counselors Association and am active with a number of other professional counseling organizations. I began my counseling work in addictions treatment, with a particular emphasis on treating the family system. I also have specialized in working with children and adults on the autism spectrum. My training as a mental health counselor helps me assist them with the wide array of co-existing conditions they often deal with, such as: ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, etc...while my personal experience as a mother and aunt to children on the spectrum gives me a deeper understanding of the challenges parents face. While I believe a client centered approach (having empathy, unconditional positive regard, and always being authentic) is fundamental to building the counseling relationship I do not adhere to any one treatment theory or modality. Just as every client is unique, I consider it my job to partner with my client to find their learning style and preferences and then tailor a treatment approach that best suits them. I regularly utilize aspects of CBT, DBT, mindfulness and motivational interviewing. For partnership/couple counseling I often utilize research and techniques from the Gottman approach, EFT, and ACT. I have research interests in counseling ethics, personality disorders, autistic spectrum disorders and animal assisted therapy and have given professional workshops on these topics at the local, regional, and national levels. I hope this gives you an idea of who I am. At heart I am a helper, and my training and credentialing are avenues to assist me in trying to be the best helper I can. I also want you to know I really appreciate the courage it takes for someone to open up to counseling and to be a part of that process is a privilege I do not take lightly. Just a note, in order to be compliant with the variety of licensing regulations in different states, I only utilize A/V telehealth for appointments.

Tamika Blaisdell
I am a healer for those seeking enlightenment. I believe in treating everyone with respect and in accordance with the laws set forth by the Lord our God. I am licensed in California and Montana. I offer 15 years of clinical expertise along with my mission, which is to guide injured souls by assessing their wounds and mapping out unique healing paths that reunite them with their purpose in life. I have experience helping clients who battle interference caused by dark energies (stress, anxiety, depression), life lessons disguised as trauma (relationship issues), toxic parenting and narcissistic abuse (trauma, abuse, anger, emotion management). I also offer relationship guidance for those seeking healthy relationships. Healthy relationships reverberate light. Unhealthy relationships breed toxins like anger and contempt, which add darkness to the atmosphere. I help individuals and couples enhance communication, discover root causes of conflict, accept differences, let go, mediate and settle disputes. Working with me is suitable for those who are firm in their decision to heal and overcome obstacles. I work with beings who are motivated to heal and release the stagnant energy attached to old wounds and patterns, commonly referred to as "baggage." Each session is personalized. This means you are unique. Therefore, your journey and the path toward enlightenment will be unique. The guidance offered will assist you in working to achieve your desired outcome, should you follow it.
