Dr. Deborah Gipple
Hi! And welcome! Congratulations on taking the courageous first step toward improving your life by reaching out and sharing information about yourself! I understand counseling as a journey where I meet you where YOU ARE AT (mentally and emotionally) and then have the privilege of traveling with you on your journey of self-discovery. I use my skills to assist on the rocky patches in the road, and am ALWAYS encouraging, confirming, and celebrating YOUR SUCCESS. I create a space for you that is confidential, accepting, and non-judgmental. I have a Ph. D. in Mental Health Counseling and am currently a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in the state of North Carolina. I also have a sub-specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have over 20 years of counseling experience, working with children, teens, and adults of all ages. The counseling modalities I use are Adlerian, Solution Focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral techniques, and a traumagenic approach. Issues for which I have provided therapy include: childhood abuse; childhood trauma resolution; questionning alcohol abuse; codependency; grief and loss; adult ADD; negotiating stressful life transitions, dealing with verbal aggression; conflict resolution; decision making; effective parenting skills; stressful family environments; and developing effective and lasting communication skills. I have also helped some of my clients resolve depression and anxiety which often are associated with the aforementioned issues. My availability is currently Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with appointments starting at 11:15am through 5:30pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays. This schedule will vary only if I have to attend to a matter that requires me to be offline/out of the office.

I value the uniqueness of you. No person, conflict, issue, or struggle is the same. Having worked with a varied client population in a wide array of clinical settings, my approach to each client is individualized and client-centered. Throughout the years, I've gained experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families as they address their own mental illness, life choices, and ineffective behavioral patterns. I have extensive experience working with adolescents and families dealing with interpersonal problems, mood disorders, substance abuse issues, and difficulties stemming from family conflict. Furthermore, I’m a certified provider of multiple evidence-based trauma therapy models including EMDR and TF-CBT. I utilize a solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral approach and will work collaboratively with you to realize the change you've been looking for.

Danielle Frouws
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the states of North Carolina and Florida. After studying Communications as an undergraduate at New York University, I continued my education at the University of South Florida where I received a master's degree in Rehabilitation & Mental Health Counseling. I have worked in community, treatment and hospital settings, providing individualized and group counseling services for teens, adults and veterans. My approach: Although I utilize several different modalities to include cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapy, mindfulness is the foundation of my practice. Mindfulness is simply about paying attention in a purposeful way. In a day and age where we constantly distracted and multi-tasking is the norm, we lose the ability to focus on any one thing. This makes it virtually impossible to be present in the moment and often leaves us feeling fragmented and disconnected. Therapy is a way of shifting ourselves back into focus; strengthening the relationship with ourselves and between our selves. Why I do what I do? This is a question that I am often asked and the answer is simple: because this is who I am. A seeker, a helper, a teacher, a counselor and a guide. While my education and work experience has helped me hone in on my skills, it is my life that has most greatly prepared me for this role. I consider it an honor and a privilege to be a part of my clients' lives. There is nothing more rewarding than helping clients move towards health and enhanced personal well-being.
