Lois Pasapane
I have a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Nova Southeastern University in 1984. I have been a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida for over 25 years and am currently licensed as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor(LCMHC) in North Carolina. I am also a national certified counselor (NCC) by the National Board for Certified Counselors .I am trained to work with individuals and groups, as well as teaching and supervising perspective counselors at Palm Beach State College in Lake Worth, Florida Theoretical Orientation: Counseling is a special type of relationship which demands that the counselor always consider the well-being of the client. Although, I have an eclectic point of view, my theoretical orientation is person-centered. I respect and value the goals of the client as the best path toward self-growth and personal fulfillment, so after a detailed intake session which includes family and personal history, identification of the issues, and importantly, client strengths as well as weaknesses, the client and myself, together, design a treatment plan which usually includes some behavioral contracts and homework assignments. I do not believe that I hold the answers to solve a client’s problems, but rather see my role as a resource and support person whose job is to empower clients to take personal responsibility for their own choices. I choose to engage the client in building resources through positive reinforcement, role-play, and esteem-building exercises. In addition to talk therapy, I expect the client to be an active participant in the therapeutic process. Treatment Options: I am also a Certified Heart-Centered Hypnotherapist and have found that hypnotherapy is one of the most effective treatment modalities used, producing lasting results while being cost effective because less sessions are usually required. I also employ Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT, also known as Tapping) as a useful practice in helping to relieve anxiety or change undesired behaviors. These techniques are only utilized after a full exploration of client needs and a thorough explanation of the processes and an agreement signed by the client. I believe in providing a safe environment that is non-judgemental and allows for feedback by the client to help focus the course of therapy, and if you choose to work with me, I will do my best to be honest and authentic in pursuit of your goals, and would be honored to be a part your journey.

Joshua Heying
Hello! My name is Josh and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with roughly 11 years of experience in the field, 6 of which have been in direct, community-based clinical practice. In that time, I have worked in adolescent and adult community mental health/crisis intervention including experience in residential treatment, school-based counseling, family counseling, LGBT+ issues, personality disorders, parenting problems, severe/persistent mental illness, anxiety, relationship problems, depression, family conflict, and trauma. All that said, my aim is simply helping others reach their goals of managing everyday life a little easier. I like to believe that therapy is firstly based in a trusting relationship and enhanced by my clinical knowledge, not necessarily in disorders/clinical jargon; however, my approach combines cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavioral, solution-focused, strengths-based, and psychodynamic therapy and I am comfortable utilizing any/all of these to tailor treatment to your individual needs! I applaud you for taking the first, often difficult, step towards meeting your goals and I look forward to working with you! Diana Ramsay
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor in NC. I worked in psychology research for 10 years and have been a therapist for 9 years. I am a National Certified Counselor and will be finishing my PhD in 2025. Most of my research and focus in therapy is centered around women’s issues and the ups and downs that can come with being a female. I am an Integrative Therapist. I use many different theories, but I use them together. CBT with ACT, along with Adlerian, DBT, and Reality Therapy. And those are just a few. Most theories are great but sometimes you have to cherry pick from them depending on who the client is. I am a women only therapist, I do not see men. You can expect an authentic session where progress is made. Together we will set realistic goals and a clear roadmap on how to get there.
