Jessica Hartman
Hello and welcome to BetterHelp! I am a clinical social worker licensed in North Dakota, Minnesota, and Nevada. I have worked in the mental health profession providing counseling for over 20 years, 6 of those years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Psychology, from the University of North Dakota in 1997. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the College of St. Catherine/University of St. Thomas in 2003. I have lived and worked in both small town/rural areas, as well as in urban areas including Minneapolis/St. Paul and Phoenix, AZ. I have provided therapy in numerous settings including schools, day-treatment programs, in-home, virtually, and in an outpatient behavioral health clinic. I have experience helping people with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, abuse/trauma, adjustment to life changes, relationship issues, LGBTQ+ issues, school/career challenges, family problems, and intrapersonal problems. It is my priority to provide a safe, inclusive, non-judgmental space for my clients. My therapy style is warm and relational. I treat my clients with respect and compassion. My approach is strength-based and person-centered, which means I meet you where you are and help you recognize and build on the positive qualities you already posses. I combine cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused techniques, and mindfulness practices to help my clients learn how to help themselves. I recognize that it takes courage and strength to ask for help. Your decision to seek therapy for yourself is evidence that you possess these qualities and have the ability to make changes that will lead you to a happier, healthier life. I would be honored to work with you on your journey!

Jody Yeh-Shinbrood
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) based in North Dakota and licensed in both North Dakota and Illinois. I have over 18 years experience working with individuals and families facing many challenges including depression, stress and anxiety, adjustment to life changes, loss and grief, family conflict, anger management, parenting issues, problem solving and decision making. I also have extensive experience working with families of children with special needs as well as experience in medical settings working with individuals and families facing major medical crises and issues. I believe that you already have the strength and ability to overcome the obstacles standing in the way of experiencing the joy and quality of life you deserve. My goal is to provide you with a warm, supportive, and respectful environment where you can safely explore the tools which can help you reach your potential. I believe the therapy experience should be positive, attentive, and validating. I will help you express your thoughts, feelings, emotions and needs and use research based approaches to help you meet your life goals. I believe that the therapeutic process is one in which you will choose your own goals and uncover what you truly value. Together we work on solutions and developing your strengths through motivational interviewing, symptom targeted intervention (STI) and solution focused (brief) therapy which gives you, the client, the power to fix your own problems instead of relying on therapy in the future. I look forward to working with you!

Nicole Allen
I am an LCSW and I work with young-adult clients, aged 18-35 years old. This is a very unique period of life, when one is solidifying their identity and trying to forge a path into their future. Life goals often include establishing a meaningful relationship, career, friendships, passions, hobbies and overall wellness. I love to help young adult clients understand how their past can contribute to challenges, but also how they can move forward in their life and use their experiences to find purpose. I empower clients with skill-building, such as re-framing, gratitude and self-care so they can live a more vibrant and fulfilling life.

Menachem Stulberger
I am a marriage and family therapist with 9 years of experience counseling a wide range of clients. I have worked with clients on grief and loss, depression and anxiety as well as substance abuse concerns. I take a warm approach with clients and use a client centered approach to therapy. I have been trained in cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy and approach the sessions in a collaborative manner always working together with people I am working with. I respect that you took this step to seek out a listening ear and I look forward to working together with you on this journey. I was born in New York and as a young child my family moved out to Los Angeles and I have been here ever since. Growing up I was always fascinated by the field of psychology and when I was going for my Bachelors Degree I therefore choose to major in psychology. I attended Touro College Los Angeles for my Bachelors degree and then pursued my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy through Touro University Worldwide. When working with clients I take a warm and empathetic approach and really try to hear what the client is saying. Therapy can be very rewarding but it is often challenging to talk about the difficulties that we face. In session I strive to create a supportive and safe space where we can work together mindfully and without judgement to increase wellness. Thank you for taking the time to look over my profile. I look forward to working together!

Welcome! My name is Michael Cole (James) and I am a licensed mental health professional. I offer my services here as a part-time contractor. I hold multiple degrees including a Master's in Social Work and multiple licenses to practice as an independent clinician (LICSW) in various states. My approach to services is eclectic in nature, which is to say that I shift my approach to meet your needs, whatever those may be. I do not believe in "cookie-cutter approaches" to this kind of work as each person is unique as are their needs and goals. I strive to be culturally informed and desire to provide competent support to all persons in need. You deserve a clinician that you can trust and who is focused on your specific needs. You deserve someone who will hold space for you, who will not cast judgement, and who will work with you to help you determine what the best path forward looks like. These things are what I strive to provide to every client I see. I am very excited to meet you and to get started on addressing the concerns/issues that brought you in to see me. Please, don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. PLEASE NOTE: I do not offer "messaging sessions" and due to my limited availability I mandate that clients only book sessions that they can keep as no-shows, late cancels, and late appearances will result in my having you find another provider to work with who can accommodate such things. Thank you for reading up on me.
