Candida Wiltshire
Hello! My name is Candida Wiltshire and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of New Jersey, Rhode Island and South Carolina. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and my Master of Social Work from Monmouth University. I work with individuals who have a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression and issues related to identity and self-esteem. I combine various therapeutic approaches to meet the needs of every individual, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy and client-centered therapy. Being a woman of color, I understand the stigma of mental health within the minority community and the necessity of services to address complex trauma. I believe that our work together should be guided by your comfort level and I will be with you along your journey to wholeness. Life can be overwhelming and challenging. My goal is to provide a safe space where individuals can develop practical solutions and tools for life. Taking the first step and reaching out for help demonstrates a strength within yourself that you can build upon. Together, we will identify areas of weakness and through exploration find healthy solutions to your problems. I believe in you; it’s time for you believe in you too. I look forward to speaking with you soon.
