Kate Conochan
I am an Independently licensed Social Worker licensed in the state of Ohio and Louisiana. I have been in the field for over 15 years having worked with a number of populations. I have provided therapy for both youth and adults with a wide range of presenting concerns. I have experience working with children in the foster care system as well as children involved in the juvenile justice system. Most of my experience providing therapy has been with adults struggling with addiction, trauma, life changes, depression, anxiety, and psychotic disorders. I take a client centered approach to therapy and believe that each individual should determine what their goals are! I will work along side you and assist you in achieving your goals on your timeline. I feel strongly about developing a therapeutic alliance which allows for an open, honest working relationship. Hello ,I have worked in outpatient settings, in hospitals, on disaster teams, in home-based programs, and overseas for military members and their families. I holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Akron and obtained my master’s degree in community counseling from Malone University.
