Danville, Pennsylvania is located along the north branch of the Susquehanna River. The population has declined since 1900: going from 8,000 in 1900, 7,500 in 1910, 7,000 in 1940, and less than 5,000 in 2010. The entire area of the Susquehanna was once owned by a Native American tribe much like the war-like Iroquois. In the mid-1800s, Danville became a transportation center for moving coal and iron first by canal boats and then by railroad. For many years, the leading employer was the iron mill and later steel factories. Every year, Danville celebrates the iron history of the area by hosting the Heritage Festival.

If you are having difficulties dealing with depression or anxiety, call a knowledgeable and licensed counselor in the Danville area. Discussing your distress is the first step in finding ways to cope with problems.

Hi, my names is Stacey Luczejko and I am a Pennsylvania Licensed Counselor. I attended Pennsylvania State University for my Bachelor's degree in Psychological & Social Sciences. I attended Rider University for both of my Master's degrees for Counseling and Educational Specialist (in counseling services). I have been counseling for the past 13 years in various capacities ranging from counseling in schools to counseling in the community. My counseling style is eclectic because I utilize many different therapeutic strategies based off of the needs of the individuals I am working with during the session. Some of my counseling theory styles consists of: cognitive, behavioral, person-centered, reality, solution-focused, and psycho-education components. In other words, I have many ways for helping individuals to deal with their struggles or with whatever is challenging them. My approach focuses on thought processes, behaviors, and action plans. I also find ways to creatively use your interests (such as: music, hobbies, movies, and etc.) in the solution process. Most importantly, during every counseling session I strive for my clients to take away something new or something that can be utilized outside of counseling in everyday life. You are not alone, I look forward to the opportunity to help you with your concerns, difficulties, or situation.

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to find out more about me. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience helping individuals and families manage life’s transitions. I received a Master’s degree from Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and have worked primarily in the world of hospice, medical home care and long-term care, visiting clients’ homes to help navigate chronic health issues, stress and anxiety, depression, grief and loss and caregiver burnout. My approach to therapy is to start in the here and now and to focus on my client’s strengths. I strongly believe that all of us, as individuals, are doing the very best we can with the tools we have on hand. Lasting change can and does occur when we develop new tools, new ways of seeing ourselves and new ways of interpreting the world around us. I take a humanistic approach to my work and recognize that each client is the real expert in this work we call therapy. My job is simply to understand, to show genuine, heartfelt concern and to empower each client to grow and change in the ways they envision. I also believe that our thoughts are powerful motivating forces but can also serve to de-motivate us. Have you ever experienced feeling sad or lonely because of the way you thought about something, only to later find out that your thinking was distorted? How crucial it is to uncover our dysfunctional thoughts! Being a social worker is who I am, not something I do. Over the course of my life I’ve been a mother, including a stint as a single mom, a grandmother, a colleague, a boss and a caregiver and I know that I can help you get to that “better place” you envision for yourself.

Hello, my name is Eden Diasio and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. I provide individual counseling to adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, substance use issues, relationship challenges, and other life stressors. I offer the opportunity for you to discover and explore your concerns in an unbiased and safe place where you can build confidence and learn new tools towards improving your mental health and quality of life. Sharing about your experiences, thoughts, and feelings might feel uncomfortable however, leaning into discomfort does not have to be done alone. It takes great strength to allow an outsider into your world and it is a tremendous privilege for me to share this therapeutic relationship with you. In my approach to counseling, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing techniques while working to meet the needs of each individual. Together we can explore and understand thoughts and perceptions and how they influence behavior. We will also work to identify your opportunities for growth and healing, while building upon your strengths. The act of seeking therapy is courageous as you are allowing someone else into the private and sacred places of your life. Fostering a trusting relationship with you will always remain at the forefront of my practice as I am committed to providing you with a meaningful and honest connection.
