I have a passion for counseling which began over 25 years ago. I have lots of experience with just about any age, diagnosis, and issue that are problems for people. A recent client said to me that I "was her lighthouse" in the foggiest time in her life. Another client recently told me that I helped him "spread his wings" and see how strong and wide they really are. Another client described my style as "intuitively accurate" and that her work with me was "life changing." I have a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from Temple University, and a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. (PA License # 006032) My style of counseling is individualized to fit the client. I am told my approach is warm, engaging, and supportive. I am solutions oriented and often utilize a cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, and strengths based approach. I specialize in anxiety difficulties, confidence and self esteem, relationships and communication, emotional trauma, and mood disorders. I know there are many counselors to choose from, but I think you will find me to be able to quickly determine what you need and get you comfortably back on track to living the best life you can. And I won't quit until you are satisfied. Whether you choose to work with me or someone else, I wish you the very best life has to offer.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania, with over 15 years of experience working with clients ranging from youth through middle age. I earned a Masters in Social Work from the University of Connecticut and have extensive experience working within the school settings, supporting youth and families, as well as the university setting with undergraduate and graduate level students. Most recently I have worked as a consultant to the Hawaii Department of Education and as the Director of Community Outreach for Mt Sinai Hospital in New York City. I have worked with clients in a variety of areas including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, conflict resolution, life skills, parenting skills, relationship dynamics, trauma, life transitions, international/expats, artists and dancers. My counseling style is both nurturing and supportive. Having worked with diverse populations, I feel strongly about creating a non-judgmental, open and understanding environment. Each person enters the counseling relationship with their own unique story and needs. It is essential to listen and learn, while supporting and empowering the individual to grow in a manner that bests fits them. Although I do not hold fast to any particular modality I do draw from a variety of different sources. The most influential are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Strengths Based Perspective, and Solution Focused Therapy. I look forward to the opportunity to hear your story and work with you.

Dr. Jannice Bailey
Hi there. I am a Psychologist, licensed in the state of Pennsylvania. I have over 28 years of experience working with people of all ages. My work has included outpatient and inpatient settings. My clients have had a variety of concerns, such as coping issues, depression, anxiety, low self esteem, and abuse issues, just to name a few. Helping others is my passion. I firmly believe that the reason therapy works (yes it does!) is primarily because of the trusting relationship between the therapist and the client. For this reason, I make it a priority that my clients understand that they are valued and are safe. My strength is showing compassion, support and respect to the people I work with. I use a variety of approaches in my practice, because I try to find what works for that particular person. I assess my client's strengths and use those to help improve areas that need to be strengthened. It is not easy to reach out for help. I applaud you and I sincerely hope that I get the opportunity to help you address your concerns.

I know that life changes can be unsettling, you may be feeling complicated emotions or you may find yourself repeating behaviors that don’t get you where you want to be. I am confident, together, we can affect a positive change within only a few sessions. I work with everyday people. Parents, adolescents, client with chronic pain, even immigrants like myself before becoming a US citizen. You are welcome here. Let’s right the wheel, and take control. Being a trauma informed therapist for well over 15 years; you have to wear many hats, as everyone is different. I specialize in treating clients with trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety and through life changing events. Certified in TF-CBT, EMDR therapy and routinely utilize Holistic/Yoga therapy in my practice. I hold a masters in psychology as well as social work; and have been educated in both the US academic system, as well as internationally – this gives me a unique perspective which I utilize for targeted, actionable results. I am privileged for your consideration.

Welcome! Your courage to work towards a better you is commendable. When starting out in therapy, our focus will be on developing a therapeutic relationship based on trust. I approach sessions with empathy and compassion in a nonjudgmental space where you may ask yourself, "What do I want from this experience?" I can support you through addressing current/past hurt and be present with you as emotions come up. I will be with you as you explore the internalized narratives that influence your functioning and wellbeing. I believe therapy should be an empowering process, in which your strengths are highlighted. I consider multicultural systems and identities in my framework for treating adolescent and adult clients within the contexts that matter most to them.
