Patrick Lawrence
ABOUT ME Hello, I have been working with clients, and families, for the past 20 years. My experience includes dealing with a variety of concerns that impact their lives. I believe that who we are and what we are have been, to some degree, influenced by others which is sometimes out of our control. Who we are, our identity, can sometimes get lost and we just need a listening ear to get us back on the right path. My focus in counseling will always be that we have choices in the path we take in our lives, which empowers us to regain control of our lives: regardless of the circumstances we find ourselves in while on this journey called life. A friend of mine said to me during one of our conversations, “the time you wake up in the morning is your morning, but you need to wake up.” This is your morning because you have reached out and I am glad that you did. I look forward to working with you

I like to take a collaborative and person-centered approach to therapy. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I take the time to get to know and understand each of my clients before diving deeper into the work of therapy. I operate with the belief that everyone is always doing the best they can in the moment they are in. Our work together will help you to develop the skills you need to help you through whatever you're going through. No matter what life has thrown at you, you're stronger than you realize and we will use that strength to help you be the best version of you. I use a behavioral based approach to help people understand how their thoughts and feelings affect their actions. What I love most about providing therapy is having the opportunity to help people discover inner strength that they've always had and maybe didn't know was there. I believe that all people are capable of becoming who they want to be. When you're ready, I'll be there with you, ready to help you reach your limitless potential.

Harriet Marritz
Licensed in Pennsylvania, I have over 35 years experience in collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds and with a variety of issues. While my primary training and experience has been in solution-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, my approach to counseling is individualized, person-centered, and trauma-informed, depending on the needs of each person. I strive to create an accepting, supportive and nonjudgmental atmosphere. I have worked extensively with those experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, challenges around life transitions, grief, alcohol issues, and self-harming behaviors. While I take my work very seriously, I try not to take myself too seriously. Although I generally provide counseling in English, having grown up in a bilingual English-Spanish household, I do speak serviceable Spanish. When not working, I enjoy being in nature, gardening, reading, and volunteering in my community around social justice issues.
